Chery, Mark: Is It

In reading the WWASP Vs Pure transcripts, it seems that Bernie Farrow was fired from Cedar Mountain Academy while Sue Scheff of PURE was making referrals  to this schools.  The transcripts say Bernie was fired BECAUSE of "credential problems."  Since parents at Whitmore were told of BERNIE's vast experience, and that he has a PhD in Mark's letter....we were wondering, DOES Bernie really have a PhD, or was this misreperesented to parents?  WHO recommended Bernie to Whitmore Academny? What is the deal?  What is the difference between "counseling" and therapy???? Why are parents told to call Bernie's work with the kids "counseling?--and not therapy? Should Bernie be addressed as "DR" or "MR" ?????

FYI, Counselor, counseling, therapy, therapist are 'professional' terms that lay people- without degrees- can not use.
Recently I heard that 'coaching' is now considered a professional term as well.
If a non-credentialed person is using one of these terms to describe themselves or their 'treatment', they need to be reported for practicing without a license. Period. That's the end of the story. They can't legally do it.

And what is his degree in, psychology or mathematics? That's important also.

The letter from Mark Sudweeks says he has a PhD in psychology.  But he is listed as a "Counselor" on the staff sheet.  Parents have been told that Bernie Farrow's work will be called "counseling and not therapy due to the situation with the licensing situation..." Suppose this is referring to the Sudweeks "surrendering their license for a therapy facility" at Whitmore Academy. Just wondering DOES Bernie Farrow have a PhD or not? What was the problem at Cedar Mountain Academy with his "credentials" when he was fired?  If Sue Scheff at PURE knew this counselor/therapist had problems when she was referring to Cedar Mountain Academy--is this not an area of concern for her at Whitmore Academy? Just seems that some of these questions need answers.
