OD, hate to sound like a moron but are Redcliff
Ascent and CEDU Ascent two different companies?
Our Constitution is in actual operation; everything appears to promise that it will last; but in this world nothing is certain but death and taxes.

BTW, if there was a Hyde board would it be more
likely to show up on a Google search for "Hyde School"?
When I search for it I don't see Fornits at all.

Redcliff Ascent and CEDU are completely different. CEDU's ASCENT program has nothing to do with redcliff, although from the gist of what I got from my peers who had been there, at least they didn't brainwash the kids too bad there, I think. No such luck at Cedu's ASCENT, where I was sent. Oh well...
Also, I haven't been able to find a Hyde board on the internet, and I surmise that there is no Hyde board. It would help tremendously to have a Hyde forum here, as this site deals with ALL coercive thought reform adolescent programs, and Hyde refugees and posters to other forums alike will benefit from the solidarity in bringing this industry to its knees and getting a little "accountability" for these sons of bitches.

OD, on the thread linked above, I said that 2-4
lasted for months and a pro-Hyde poster said I
was full of it. Seems like "outpost" and the
relationship with Redcliff has changed what 2-4
is all about since I was there in '76. When I was
there one was put on 2-4 for about a month and
then was moved to a modified work crew called
"am-pm". This meant that you did work crew from
I think 5am till breakfast, went to classes and
stuff, then did work crew again till lights out
around 10 or 11. That DID last for months. Also,
if someone wasn't working out at Hyde the usual
outcome was for the kid to simply run away, we
usually had a runner every couple of weeks. When
that happened, Hyde simply told your parents to
throw you out of the house. Sounds like the
"escorts" show up before it gets to that point
these days. This "Dean's Area" business is also
new to me BTW.
Thanks for clearing up the difference between the
two Ascents BTW. The similar names had me confused.
Could you tell what you know about "outpost" as
Hyde didn't have that in '76?
Thanks,
Tommy
