Personal Rights in California for Kids at CEDU

Go to the website of the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division. There is a section entitled "General Licensing Requirements".  Click on the item under 1/14/05.

Read section 84072 and decide for yourself.

sorry dude read it yourself the section you quote: 80072 exempts children's residential facilities, nice try. group homes are for adults.

It is a good idea to give your lawyer's name and your name because a lot of people from CEDU try to trap us into giving up out identities so they can fuck with us. I would never just blindly give out personal info on an annomous post or even a registered post because these people at CEDU are dark, evil, fucks who would not think twice about lying, decieving, tricking then destroying. It is part of their programs. The documentary also must be the same bullshit because there are no names of producers, directors or anything. Folks out there, be careful.

My sentiments exactly.  Although the "Producer" from IdahoFlow has insisted repeatedly that the "documentry" will be completely neutral & objective, he has also freely admitted that he and his staff believe Cedu is a "positive experience."  In other words these people like Cedu.  

Think about all of the pro-cedu posters who visit this site or have done so in the past....
Ottawa 5, Ottawa 2, The Dickless Wonder, Just Trying,and all the other anon trolls, read their posts, and tell me when have these people ever been objective about Cedu? Never. Have any of them even acknowledged at least the remote possibility that some of the allegations of abuse posted on this site may be true?  Certainly not.  Have these sheep displayed even the slightest hint of compassion after reading the countless detailed accounts of the abuse and neglect suffered at Cedu by Fornits posters? Not once!

Ultimately, cedu supporters are in denial.  They're reponse is to to label us as sociopaths, criminals,drug addicts, mentally ill, etc... and then use these labels as an excuse to justify the abuses that we all suffered.  Cedu sheep  are not concerned with the truth, they are only interested in their (cedu's) truth, which is no truth at all.

If Idaho Flow really is who they say they are, don't you find it strange that they ask fornits posters to surrender their anonymity(on film no less), yet they refuse to surrender their own?

Would any of you actually trust Ottawa5 to film your stories of abuse at cedu, and portray them accurately to the public?  Of course not.
And I don't believe we should trust "Idaho Flow" either, as they've given us no reason to believe they are any different from Ottawa5 or any of the other posters I  mentioned earlier.

My advice, if you do choose to speak with these people (Idaho Flow), be very careful what you reveal to them.

Honestly, I am one of the people who resisted getting a post out here with my real information posted publicly. I am brave, but recognize after reading about the ol' snake in the mailbox incident, that there are fanatics (see http://www.cedualumni.com) out there who don't think along the same normal lines as most of society. They believe that EVERYONE in the world should go through the program.

WHY are we still scared of CEDU? How could the impact of the program have the resultant effect on people one way so completly and others so different? Keep in mind that most people probably realize after a few years that they are beyond the clutches of CEDU and start to get their identity back on their own. I don't know why I have nightmares about being back there, trapped, misunderstood, and scared, or why it makes me cry just to think about the place if I just "slow down" for five seconds. Fuck that. Why is it when I see or hear text from The Prophet, my stomach does flip flops. I was at a waiting room for an elevator the other day and Pachabel's Canon came on. I hit the stairs with my HANDS over my EARS! I wasn't in the mood to slow down! And yet like a trained dog, I was not salivating, but getting a sick Clockwork Orange type feeling in the pit of my stomach and a flash of a screaming room full of kids sitting in a circle, and I know...that's just wrong!

WHY do we feel CEDU can still touch us? I understand that for ex-staff there are professional reasons, but for ex-students the reasons are different. And they are complex.

Folks who read this site should read the Califonia regulations that apply to Group Homes, which is what CEDU is.
