The only way to close Elan

Hire a tour bus to load all of the students on ...and to drive each one of them back to their parents where they belong.

Go to maine and get them....
and then simply burn every building on the property to the ground ( without the use of any kind of accelerant such as gasoline or paint thinner)

no witnesses
no deaths
no lawsuits

no problems

I would also like to throw Rosenberg in the Elan 3 oven and burn him like we did his ancestors.

you go in the early evening before the night guards get there... when there is only one staff member in each house....and simply leave them tied up in the soccer field....while they watch the place burn...
However, no buildings can be left standing...becuase you know these bastards they will try to house everyone in re-entry dorms or the luggage house if you leave these houses alone and don't set them on fire.

Ok I can see everyones minds are are work here. Why the hell dont we do something real like sue the shit out of them. Something I'm sure would make all of us happy.We need to put more thought and ideas into that. Burning the place down wouldnt put money in our pockets now would it?

I don't need any money.
I have a sucessfull career.
I don't want to spend months in court.
I just want the children freed from that prison in Poland Springs.
Its the children there, suffering right now that needs to be our concern.
This is not the time for selfishness.
Anyone who is on this site isn't in Elan now, since there are no computers available to students.
So, anyone posting here is safe..but, the kids inside need our help...they cannot defend themselves, Elan will not allow them the proper tools.

p.s. The tent idea is the stupidist thing I have ever heard, they would never do that.
You burn the place to the ground and rescue the children. That is what should be done.

Well good for you I need and want them to pay! Your such a good sole whatever! Oh and by the way they do have computers I was there seem them a room full of them...    (Anyone who is on this site isn't in Elan now, since there are no computers available to students)

I wasn't at Elan, so I wouldn't have a case against them, obviously. But I do agree... Why not sue them? I can hear the reasons now...

-We signed a paper that said we wouldn't sue
-They've got good lawyers
-They've got a lot of money to hire lawyers
-Nobody will believe us

Those difficulties CAN be overcome.

So with that we just give up? NOT! There has to be someone out there that will help just have to find them and make things happen! And I will keep looking...

I will never give up have been trying to write to anyone who will hear me while I have had no luck as of yet I feel sooner or later someone will hear us and do something. I really dont care if they shut down or not as I know they are pulling some shit its not near what we went through back in the 70s and 80s. And if ya ask me the state of Maine is admitting guilt when they say their not interested in what happen then? WHY? is there something there they dont want to see? Just like the preist thing they want it to go away NOT! Maybe we should try to nail them fuckers!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a side note--I wasn't at Elan, but I've heard enough about it to realize my close call with the place makes me extremely lucky not to have ended up there, rather than at the place I went to. At least we didn't get physically hurt there.

If you do plan anything... don't talk about it in public. :smile: You never know who is listening, and I wouldn't put it past them to have informers. I'd be quite happy to hear about something "happening" to the place, just as long as it didn't include murder!

But, y'know... I think public humiliation could be more interesting... you know, CNN, 48 Hours, etc. And their faces plastered all over the national news: "Institutional Child Abuse Case"... etc.

Thats just what we need to do make this as public as possible! Your right expose expose expose them for the shit they pulled maybe they really thought they were helping people and realize later how sick thier treatment was. I dont know nor do I care the facts remaine the same abuse is abuse and I for one want our story told.
