dude, you would get sat on for rockin out in group, supposedly rock was evil and if you spun the record backwards satanic music would come out. Wow, only in straight would humanity itself be derived from abuse and misuse of justice itself.

Thank god, i've forgotten the lyrics to "It's Me." The only way I kept my sanity on 1st phase was to systematically recite all the David Bowie songs from all his early albums (in my head) while sitting in group on those wretched fiberglass chairs. My sister sold all of my albums (which, i think would be worth quite a lot today) and it's taken me years to re-establish my music collection.

Over hill, over dale
we will hit the druggie trail
as Straight goes marching on.
We'll scream, shout,
Straight without a doubt as Straight goes marching on.
How proud are we, love and honesty,
we shout are feelings that are true
WE LOVE YOU
wherever you'll go you'll ALWAYS know,
that STRAIGHT goes marching on.

Oh, just for you Anon

You're a grand old fag
You're a high flyin' fag
And forever in peace may you wave
You're the emblem of
The man you love
The homo so free and so shaved!

Always requested that one whenever Chris Casselor led rap.

I didn't intend for this to take on a political tone, I'm just here for the drugs.

I came from Alabama with my banjo on my knee.
I'm going to Pennsylvania, my Eurdora for to see.
It rained all day the night I left
the weather was so dry
the sun so hot I froze myself, Eudora don't you cry.

Oh Eudora, don't you cry for me.
I come from Alabama to put you on my knee.

I had a dream the other night, when everything was still.
I thought I saw Eudora cum a saut'ring down the hill
The red red rose was in her hand, the tear was in her eye.
I said I come from Dixieland, Eurdora don't you cry. ::boohoo::

Look away beyond the blue horizon

I found Straight as my Salvation
you take it too
I found Straight as my Salvation
you take it too.
I found Straight as my salvtion
you take it too.
Look beyond the blue horizon.

I found a place in Straight that outshines the sun.

In your wildest dreams, asshole. Better men than you, by far, don't get to see that. Only one does.

You actually enjoy this? You reliving fond old memories typing out these songs? Why? How fucked up was your world that you landed in that nightmare and mistook it for some sort of paradise?

I'm sorry. Not sorry enough to want to fuck you, mind you. But real sorry for you.

I am an atheist, out and out. It took me a long time to say it. I've been an atheist for years and years, but somehow I felt it was intellectually unrespectable to say that one is an atheist, because it assumed knowledge that one didn't have. Somehow it was better to say one was a humanist or agnostic. I don't have the evidence to prove that God doesn't exist, but I so strongly suspect that he doesn't that I don't want to waste my time.

WOW! THAT sparks a memory:  Replace "Straight" with "Lifers", and you have the version I learned.

Oh Wait! Wait, wait, wait... Petermann totally distanced herself from Straight, didn't she?  On what basis again?  Sorry, my mind is so addled from years of drug abuse, and I just can't remember.
