Growing Together
« on: November 05, 2004, 04:04:00 PM »
I'm a reporter with New Times Broward-Palm Beach in South Florida, and I'm researching Growing Together in Lake Worth.

As part of this, I'd like to talk to as many people as I can who have knowledge of the facility or have in fact been "clients" of the facility (or their parents). Due to the sensitivity of information, I'll be happy to grant anonymity to those who request it.

You can reach me at 954-233-1576, or by e-mail at [email protected]

guess it's the money card.
you pay someone off - you have the ticket to abuse children
for example
mark foley - big big GT fan and promote
   governer bush
these guys really need the money? guess so, and it doesn't amtter to them who they hurt, even if it's children.
yes, mark foley is in trouble now, but so what, he can still buy little boys for sex.

You know what the worst part of this is? The most sickening thing is that I WAS IN GT WHEN THIS WAS PUBLISHED. I remember how they let us "read it." It is not until now that I realize that I had not read the whole story. Today is the first time I've been able to actually READ IT. I can't believe this. At the building they made a copy of this article for us to see. THEY ONLY SHOWED US the part where it described the naked crusader incident. They then had a lengthy discussion about how its probably fabricated bullshit from some kid who "didn't like being here".
GT never fails to sicken me.

ohnny, my love, get out of the business
It makes me wanna rough you up so badly
Makes me wanna roll you up in plastic
Toss you up and pump you full of lead

Johnny, my love, get out of the business
The odds are getting fatter by the minute
That I have got a bright and shiny platter
And I am gonna get your heavy head

Do you remember coming to the LIFE building for a long weekend?  I thought GT as a whole came over there and I remember a baby in a playpen in the back part of the rap room.  I was sent to GT for a week after I got started over.  It was supposed to motivate me.  It certainly did.  I remember that we had to sing Man In The Mirror by  Michael Jackson song over and over.  The thought of that song makes me physically ill.
