Yes, and I can't remember why.
Why does that name ring such a loud bell?
I just can't place it.

Does it resonate w/ the Tampa Bay area?

What kind of humanism expresses its reluctance to sacrifice military casualties by devastating the civilian economy of its adversary for decades to come?

There was a kid in our program in Virginia named Eric Rosen.  Where did you find his name?  Could this be the guy you are talking about?

Oh, that would be interesting as hell! All I know about this guy, I don't even know for sure. Someone told me that he refers kids to CEDU and/or Hyde School and that he practices out of the Tampa Bay area.

I note that a lot of LIFErs who registered for the reunion wound up in either law enforcement or the military. And I know of at least one former straightling who's a shrink now.

Assuming he's not a program graduate, I wonder if maybe there's been enough publicity and media inquery to throw this issue at rank-n-file counselors and therapists again? I know a few of us have tried before to get some professional attention to this issue, but maybe things have changed enough so that the profession will respond now?

Suppose you were an idiot.  And suppose you were a member of Congress.  But I repeat myself.

Oh, you noticed that too?  I was amazed at the amount of people who chose more programming after the program.

I looked him up on a list, during the program he spelled his last name Rosene.  But who knows? I suppose he could have dropped the "e"

However, I do know it was pronouned Rose-eeny.  So it depends on how this guy says his last name I suppose.

Just some food for thought. (at the time he was from Reston,VA)

Check out this book by the same author of the book in his hand:

Institutionalizing Madness: Families, Therapy, and Society
by Joel Elizur, Salvador Minuchin

Editorial Reviews

From Book News, Inc.
Psychologist Elizur and family therapist Minuchin dramatize the dehumanizing force of mental health systems, using four actual family cases to explore the interaction of families, patients, and institutions. The cases illustrate the disastrous consequences of professional biases and institutional failures. As a viable alternative to hospitalization, the authors describe a variety of community-based services that provide social support and structured programs. A very powerful analysis. Annotation copyright Book News, Inc. Portland, Or.
