GOOD MORNING FAMILY!
« on: May 26, 2004, 10:39:00 AM »
Does anyone remember how excited certain people got when they Yelled GOOD MORNING FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That always cracked me up.  Peter M and Alex Schrieber took that to a whole new level.  I hated yelling that.  AND I HATED MMR's soo much.  After I ran away I was forced to do the song for two weeks.  I did all theme songs from shows.  I specifically remember singing the brady bunch and having to redo it like 4 times cuz Marc thought I could "put more into it"  God how embarassing.  I LOVED IT thought when Ross erstling and Justin Baltin sang the backstreet boys, TELL ME WHYYYYY!!!!! Aint nothing but a heart ache! Ross loved his MMR's and I got plenty of dealing crews for being a coordinator and laughing at how loose he was.  Jerome did a pretty good version of Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song too. hehehehe.

I agree with you, Morning Meetings were so fucking boring! There were a few ppl that actually made them less boring, that's for sure. Aaron Stansfield's and Josh Davidson's MMR's were pretty outrageous, they used to make the entire dinning burst burst into laughter.
As far as the extremmely enthusiastic ppl, I think Natasha Pace was the loudest at my house, thou I do remember some males who used to get pretty loud too, like Justin Ashcroft and Chris Virag.
Thank you Maren for bringing back some positive memories, most of the memories that we keep in mind as far as Elan are usually negative. Dude, I miss these people! I wonder what's happened to Natasha Pace. Has anyone heard from her?

   Peace!

I guess it's because Elan 7 used to be so uptight. Living in the females dorms was a real fucking nightmare, people were more concerned about what others were doing wrong than actually having some decent quality conversations. Things were different in Satellite / Outreach, you guys were more confortable with each other. Whatever you guys did different, we'd wonder: "Are they allowed to do that?" There were ppl that just booked you because it'd make them look good, plus it was easier cause there'd no confrontation. The shit was so fucking petty it's not even funny. But trust me, they're really good people.

   Peace!

I remember getting booked by elan seven for listening to tori amos on cover sleep, they said I was listening to innapropriate music, I also use to get booked by E-7 for smiling a lot.  Oops, lol, but I hated living at satelitte with e-7 because we would have about 21309487523409587 fai's brought up every day.  Even when I tried to be perfect I would get booked for something, like brushing my teeth for too long or something. hehehehe.

Elan Seven booked ppl in other houses for the things they were taught to book people for in their own house.  I lived in outreach for a while and saw a post on this site where someone was venting cuz of the no. of incidences i booked on them... The reason is because that was normal for us.  I personally didn't realize how much more laid back the other houses were and i'm sure all E-7 ppl wished they were in another house.  You guys had it a lot easier than us.  Be happy u were not in 7.

That wasn't even you who booked us actually, it was this girl Kiriyaki (whose name I know am horribly mispelling), I think that's what the person is referring to, when that girl booked an insane amount of incidents, to where finally staff intervened. 7 people did book everyone a lot, but this girl really overdid it.

Closing the Incident Book when on the post was rather itriguing. Although there were a few outrageous incidents, it's amazing how people would spice things up just get someone else in trouble and/or just book people for the pettiest incidents.

I got so fat in Elan cuz Of the huge amounts of like random lasagna or whatever was in those big vats everyday.  And I was in the bathroom once looking at my tummy and someone booked me for being loose and making smiley faces naked with my stomach.  I GOT A FREAKIN STAND UP FOR THAT.  Gawd.
