A massage parlor on wheels
« on: May 22, 2004, 06:35:00 AM »
For the last x amount of years I always had a really good sound system in my vehicle with the exception of investing better money into the base part of it.

I took my old kicker box which housed 2 12's that was wired to produce low's and highs and sealed it up to become all low's.

Friend of mine gave me an old 375 watt amp form the 80's. It was a pyramid gold series, total distortion, basically a peice of shit when it came to producing bass.

The other day I was at my friends shop so he can reprogram a new remote for my remote starter. I was inside checking out his stereo equipment when I noticed he had a nice kicker box which was smaller in length then mine.

So I asked if I could here it in my vehicle so we took it out and hooked it up. Now I stopped running that pyramid amp and retired it for good because one of my employees sold me a new in the box Kenwood 350 4 channel bribgeable amp for $80.00.

I was using the Kenwood as the bass amp. Anyway they hooked up the box and after adding some new cables it sounded so much more better, the bass was really thumping.

I then walked around the vehicle and still din't have my needs met. I wanted to be able to really hear the bass good standing behind my vehicle so back into the shop we gop to look at amps.

He then took out this Memphis 500 watt digital amp with remote bass control and hooked it up and man does this thing produce some serious bass.

When the volume is turned on 10 or higher, my entire veicle becomes a huge massage  parlor. The bass sooths your entire body. My system is so loud, all the mirrors are rattling and it sounds so clear.

so with a small investment of just under $600.00, I now have a rocking complete system.

I have an alpine cd head unit, kenwood parametric eq, us acoustic's 4 channnel 400 watts running mid's and high's in the doors and a 500 watt digital memphis amp running to poly power base 12's enclosed in a kicker box.

The funny thing is when I pull up to a light now, I annoy the person in thew car next. behind and across from me with all this base.

If anyone is into car audio system's I strongly and highly recommend Memphis amps, they sound so good.

Your mama gives a shit, because when I was fucking her in the ass, she said, baby, can you turn that kicking system up a few more notches?

I then told her that the next time she wants to fuck me she has to bring you along so you can wipe up any of my goo that I miss off her face and lands on my leather seats, she said, yep baby, I can make my child do that, thats all my child is good for anyways.

I just bought an alpine cd changer yesterday, makes life a little more easier scanning thourgh my cd's now.

Was a little dia appointed though, wanted to get at least a 10 disc changer, but the guy said the other brands would have to be hooked up through your FM channel and the sound would'nt be as good.

Anyway I got the Alpine hooked up through AI_NET and it sounds really good, its ponlt a 6d though. They sold it to me for $260.00.
