Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize an undercover dictatorship. To restrict the art of healing to one class of men, and deny equal privilege to others, will be to constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic, and have no place in a Republic. The Constitution of this Republic should make special privilege for medical freedom as well as religious freedom.

The film A Clockwork Orange was made in 1971 and was an adaptatation of the novel written by Anthony Burgess in 1962. I can see what you're getting at there, but to say that the film is is "gay" is a bit of a stretch. The story was set in a sort of futuristic Britain where gangs of Nadsats (hoods) roamed the streets, etc. The Brits can seem a bit queer to us to begin with. Didn't some of us call the Beatles fags and so forth back in the days of the British Invasion?

Though there is plenty of violence (of every sort) in the story, there are no homo scenes.
