Living in Portland after my parole from elan, I had the opportunity to smoke weed with staff who were still working there and were my directors at some point. Anyone have this "weird experience"

Don't you think it sounds hypocritical that they work in a place for kids who have issues with drugs, they keep telling the kids that smoking pot is wrong, then all of a sudden it's OK for them to do it?

The general concensus seemed to be private lives are just that,and if you party that's cool as long as you take care of your responsabilities.Nobody really thinks pot should be illegal anyway right?

I don't think they looked at it that way.In elan specific "areas" are targeted not specific substances.The underlying causes if you will.

Which staff did you blaze one with?  I wouldnt smoke weed with any of them, it would be too hard to not to go balistic on them.  But i think most would run if they saw me commin any way.  What i wouldnt give to see Pete. He has alot commin to him from so many people, i think i should take a number.

I'm not interested in nameing people who I've smoked with on a public forum.That's how rats are born.Only interested in others experience.Your movie idea is interesting to me because of nostalgia and the stories,well need I say more.There were some disturbed MF's in that place.But as far as going public how many of us could stand high profile scrutiny.I've paid my dues,have you?

we have all paid in one way or another. if you just want to allude to issues and not get specific, fine..ok, cool.
however, if you have a social concience, you may see it differently. we have over 30 people who have the guts to tell the truth. these folks  walk the walk.
