Matt,this is Jim,I was in that shithole in 81.I remember a story about a hired security guy pulling nightman,getting killed by a resident who hit him in the head with an iron.You know anything about that?

Jim ,

You were in 2a were the paths still lined with big round rocks ,including the driveway ?

In answer to your question no I don't know anything about a security (hired )guard getting killed by another resident . This is the first time that I have heard anything about it .(sorry)

Courious about the rocks , because during my sick and abusive shotdown .The one where I had 2 po's that were given a baseball bat with instructions by kruglik " that if I even gave theM a hint that I was going to runaway ,they were to BEAT me to DEATH on the SPOT ." I lived in fear for my life during this time .

 I put those rocks in place  while being screamed at for moving to slow over and over and over again .

I use to move piles of rocks from one area to another and back again to the same place over and over again . while the po's just screamed "stand right there " could'nt set those rocks down . they were 35 to 45 pound rocks, white Maine granite .Who knows could have even been heavier.

My arms got huge ,as well as my shoulders. I was a skinny, skinny kid .

Jim truly sorry that you were in that shithole .

Just courious about the rocks .Oh It is me Matt Hoffman  I just did not sign in ,had a really long day .

I do want people to know that I do not hold any one of the residents(that were in the house with me during this  time ) accountable for any of the sick and twisted lunacy that happened to me on that shotdown .They were simply following orders from elan and its henchmen (the directors).

As you know if they did not do what they were told they would also have experienced certain pains of hell.

Dude,your rock story is whacked.I myself was not in 2a it was before my time(81-82)but I remembered that nightman story and thought you might be in the same timeframe.I also remember some real horror stories from elan 4 the first time it was opened with the state residents etc...
    I was in e-4 the second time it was opened and seen the jail cells and such.

The night man wasent killed. They almost killed him .Six guys got away that night. The plan was to kill the night man and woman. They were husband and wife. They were old.And the boys were susspose to get the girls, but the night woman herd alot of nosies comming from down the pathand called Elan 6 for help. I remember one boy involed Donnie Rovnack. They were all caught that night.The next day there was a ALL HOUSE GENARL Meeting called in Poland and all the houses were shot down for months. I remember like it was yestreday.

this is a true story.I was therer also.Then was sent to 6 which was tight,as part of a "goon squad".Were 6 or 8 of us that had to stay therer from poland for 2-3 weeks.

The "iron thing " I wondered what that was all about .

in my opinion it seems like like more and more of  elans  Skeletons that are in the closet are finally coming to see the light of day.

It would be really neato keeno if people on this board would simply post stories or their experiences or what they saw happen to their brothers and  sisters while they were there and stop the petty little cream puff wars that every so often erupt and rage on this site.

This is the same story I heard when I was there. What ever happened the the perp that whacked the old guy? Who was in charge of that house?

He didnt die but his head was bashed in and wouldnt ever be able to walkor talk again.Dave Dyer was Dir at the time Rose Real Mike Stone Donnie Rovnack and Hector Pidella were all caught later on that night. All the houses went TIGHT. It WAS REAL rough back then.
