I understand that you guys wanna goof around a bit, I'm totally fine with that. But this is getting really stupid. It would be nicer If we only made a joke when it's funny.

Just more American humor Marina.  Not enough people post here to keep it lively, so we have to pick up the slack and amuse ourselves.  For kids with ADD, that's a challenge.

My advice is to go buy all the Jerky Boys albums.

Peter, did you laugh when the new resident was bringing "The Joke" as his or her MMR? I didn't. It wasn't funny. It wasn't funny when I was standing in front of the house either. By the way, I was surprised when there were people laughing at the stupidest jokes I was telling the house. The only reason I was standing there is because I was forced to, as you all know.

I'm not much of a fan of the American commercial comedies, but I still laugh when I watch an episode of Friends, South Park, the Simpsons or whatever. I recently watched "How to lose a man in 10 days". Hillarious! I laugh when I read a play written by Christopher Durang. Maybe my honesty can be taken as something offensive, believe me, it's nothing personal, but I only laugh at something when I think it's funny.

Hey, Mr Sol Rosenberg, don't take it personally ok?

    Peace!

LOL, Marina, you should download some stuff by the Jerky Boys.  It's not the same written out.

And yes, I sat through some very bad MMRs.

"Sol Rosenberg" is a couple people on here actually.  As is Frank Rizzo and Jack Tors.

This is sol's mother calling....i want all you boys and girls to stop making fun of my solomon. he is a good boy and is very good to his mother. i buy him shoelaces because the other boys at that schul i sent him to, you know, the one in maine thats run by not-nice-goyum,well, they steal them. i dont know what they could be doing with my solly's shoelaces, but i am sure it hurts his feelings to have them just taken like that. how would you feel if boys took your shoelaces? i bet it would hurt you and make you sad and want to come home for a bowl of borscht with warm sourcream floating on top and some nice ritz crackers. that would make all you boys feel better and maybe if you felt better you would stop this stealing of shoelaces. its not nice.
and another thing, why cant that schul allow my sol to wear his yarlmuka?and why, on a shabbas eve, my sol can't even light one candle for his dear beloved bubbe, who passed-on last purim. you boys would have loved sol's bubbe. she liked indians, too. so much, that she bought our little solly some nice cowboy & indian wallpaper...and every time sol would leave his room he would make these little circles and dance and sing: hiyuh hiyuh hiyuh hiyuh....and sometimes his friend and classmate, kenny would beat a drum. it was something, i tell you!
So, boys..please, do this for an old lady...be nice to sol and his friend...that italian boy...frankie. yeah, frankie rizzo...he has a very big ratchet and he will bonk anyone who is not nice to my solly.
do we understand each other?

"ever hear the phrase "guess you had to be there" not everything is about you marina".

So what? I still have the right to voice my opinion.

By the way... just the way you worded you last message. Sounds like you have a lot of prejudice in your heart. What's up with "It's for Americans, not you"??? Does it make any difference? The good American humor is very much appreciated throghout the world, we still don't laugh at YOUR jokes.
