DALLAS PEOPLE WHERE YOU BE?

So, it seems as if most of us dallas folks are/were troublemakers! gotta love it.
So people treated me shitty while I was there.
So I had to look at naked dudes every night.
So I really had to make dudes twice my size lift there sack to make sure they werent hiding weapons of mass destruction.
So we were all miserable.
So my life got 10 times worse the moment I walked out the door.
So I became a heroin addict and spent the better Part of my twenties chasing the perfect speedball.
So I spent time in the state pen.
So I got twenty eight felonies
So I cant count how many misdemeanors.
I got over it
My life is pretty cool, I got a hot lil wife, a cutey patuty little baby boy
I'm off parole
I help other poor shlubs stay sober
I skate pools three times a week, I am addicted to caffiene, and I think that people are all worthy of forgivness,
I think that this post of mine is retarded
I think I am retarded
I want to hook up w/ dallas folks
just cus
seems that all of the people on this board from dallas were in before me though!
so dallas people give me a holler
I was in from late 88-early 90 Any one here from that era???

hey...yes ceasar was on staff, shae, heath, and others...jason blanton and i have been friends for many, many years, and he commenced shortly after i got there...i knew rene..bearly...my email is on prof... i have a few other names to toss around....sounds like we know alot of the same people   ::rocker::

Lisa...was your last name different while you were there?  I cant place your name, and it seems we were in at the same time...I remember Jason Blanton, and when he commenced.

Todd....hows the bebe?  Long time no talk.  I been around...mostly chatting with those of us who are a little more hardcore.  I think I have had enough of all that though.  Hows the new J-O-B?

You know I have to have a small shudder and a poo poo thumbs down for the whole Lael thing.....but hey....getcha sum, cowboy.  :silly:

As for the names...I remember them all.  Was thinking of a new one yesterday...Laura Butterworth.  About 3 feet tall?  Wanted a big black dually truck when she got out?  Misbehaved for most all of my program....think she was still there after I hauled ass.  Christy Rye, Linda Bitney, Dari Cheetham, Meredith Ahlers, Stephanie Lundberg, Lori Scott.....I bet I could still name a hundred names from that place.....[ This Message was edited by: Carmel on 2004-03-28 20:24 ]

so I want to talk to Lael, forgive me, I had some preteen wonderlust thing going for her I cant help it.
Any way the new job is all consuming, and I gotta pay my dues, so lots of overtime, but it just makes me appreciate the time I get to spend with the wife and bebe, hey I'll email you some pics  of my boy soon, email me your primary email cus I cant remember if its the "goldfish one" aka gesepe aka greasepipe(did i drag that out to far? or the babalu@ snotmail, so holler

no, i have been lisa hartman for all my life...i was only in straight from march,91'-june or july 91'...i walked a few months after i got there

Ah...that makes sense....I was there from March of 90 to about November of 90 before I ran.....so you got there not too long after....

I was in straight in dallas (los colinas i believe) from feb. 1989 to July, when i ran away. This is the first time that I've ever thought about searching for anything about straight online, and i am so happy to find stuff on the web about it. It was really a horrifying experience for me, even more so since I had never done drugs beforehand. I did them after though. I was convinced I was a drug addict by the time I ran away, I wasn even starting to remember doing them (???), but somewhere in my brain I knew I wanted out of there at the same time. I remember I dreamt about being locked back up in there every single night for the first six months afterwards, and then periodically for years later. Interested in talking with people who were there aroung the same time. Who are you carmel? I thought I knew but now I am confused by your dates.
Jane from Dallas, How about more info? I was in straight Dallas, in the Richardson Building. Went in in Oct. of 87' left Nov. 89'.  Sandy Strawn was on Sr. Staff w/ Jeff Spearman, Sherri & Cameron Riley were on Exec. Staff. LOOOOOOOOOONG Time Ago. I married a straight guy and have been married for 8 1/2 years. Made it to 5th phase left came back and then walked. Mr. Dorghtery called me 2 weeks later begging me to come back in to a 1 week 5th phase phase review and I would be back on the side of group. I said NO THANKS :wave: BYE BYE.....
That was about a month after they moved to the new building in Irving.
