Does anyone here remember Dave Lively from the St. Pete stalag?  He was in from 82-84.  He was funny as hell, and helped me maintain some semblance of sanity, particularly during my last couple of months there.  We would support each others misbehaving efforts, and it made it easier than trying to do it alone.  Little stuff like high fives and peace signs, air guitar, and mentioning rock bands and drugs went a long way in the fight to resist.  Thanks for the help, Dave.

I remember the name.  Can't picture him though.  Did he get confronted all the time?  I mean like for a specific thing?  I know I remember the name and someone forever saying "Dave Lively, stand up".

Dave got confronted a hell of a lot--for some reason staff liked to pick on him and give him an extra ration of shit.  If I had a dime for every time a staff member said "Dave Lively, stand up!" I'd be richer than Bill Gates.
