Newton supervising comm. svc.???

A friend of  one of my daughters was sentenced to community service.  He got caught smoking a joint.  I've known about this for a while and the kid lives on the beach, but I didn't think to make the connection.  She and I were talking this morning and I find out that he is doing his community service at Christ of the Sea.  Haven't found out yet if Newt is 'hands on' in this, but I'll know by this afternoon.

Yes, I will be supervising those delinquents. I feel so alive again! Aside from their usual duties, I'll have them making runs to the liquor store for me, Ruthie, and Mr. Toy.  ::cheers::

It would be typical Newton behavior to be supervising kids on community service.  In his mind, druggie kid= slave labor.  When I was in Straight, he frequently had phasers doing yardwork at his house for no pay.  A way of "showing appreciation" don't ya know.

Who can we contact - who can we alert to the dangers Miller Newton supervising children?  
Can we send proof of his violent actions towards leigh bright to any of these people, or the lawsuits he's lost - will that help?  I feel like I need to do something to stop him.

What? He's working with children?

My understanding is that he was no longer allowed to be in contact with or work with children? I think there may have been some stipulation that he could if he was under someone else's supervision though. I have to see if I can find out.

Some one had posted the psychology license board info as well as his license on another thread. Do you think sending stuff to them might at least get them to check out what's going on? If this is true...It makes me sick.

I'll bet you one pint of homebrew and a slab of sourdough bread that your posting the fact that he's a licensed psychologist does more good than any calls or letters to the licensing agency will.

Of course, it'll be hard to sort out cause and effect. But I'm guessing that, in the long run, more people are spared abuse at the hands of professional head shrinkers and self declared experts just by bumping into that fact in the context of this site than are those rescued by the licensing agency.

Any takers, hit me up in about 20 or 30 years and well settle up.
