What's the deal with the phoney legal pot? Guy at the local head shop tried to sell me some I didn't buy it though. Anybody ever tried it?
It's a synthetic or a cocktail of synthetics that hit some of the same receptors that pot does. It was heavily used by soldiers when I was living in NC, because the Army hadn't yet devised a test for it. The Army does have a test now, so most users tend to be civilians who are drug tested for employment or probation. I don't think too many businesses are testing for "spice" (as I have heard users refer to it) as of yet.
I tried a few different brands during my stay in NC. Some were very mild, some were very powerful. None were a real substitute for TBPITW. Psychoactive, definitely. Worth giving up TBPITW for? Hell no. I guess if I were on probation or subject to random testing for whatever reason, I might find a particular brand that I liked and use it whenever test time was coming around, but that's about it. I've heard it called spice, G.I. Jane (get it? Mary Jane for GIs?), incense, etc. It's worth a try, I suppose, if you are interested in checking out a new psychoactive, but don't overdo it if you want to enjoy the experience.
It's alright but not a substitute for the real thing.
