Elan's daily routine

This is the daily routine from my time.

Wake up 8 am , procrastination blows 8:05 am, hygiene until 8:45 am.Then it was clean dorms till 9 am, then everything gets checked bed, br, ect through dichotomy and accepted before hitting the floor around 9:15 am.at that time it was breakfast till 9:45, after that HITDR = house in the dinning room  was called for functioning.volunteers were called upon and some jobs deligated.After that depending on the day we either went into static gruops or functioning where you would work in your department till about lunch time.!2 noon HITDR called for lunch till about 12:30pm the HITDR called for functioning agai, you would clean for about a half hour or so then HITDR was called for groups, mondays and fridays were usaully encounter groups and they ran till about 4 pm depending on how many slips were dropped.

Then we set up for dinner and hitdr was called for dinner, we eat till about 5 and then hitdr was called for fucntioning, time to clean once again! the proecess is repeated all over until about 6 pm when hitdr was called for school,.

School strted 6;30pm to 10pm or maybe 10"30, i forget.After school hitdr called for functioning then snacks, 11pm hitdr called for bed.

And during the day v/r's were issued and g'ms's depending on how serious the incident was.

First one of the year was Halloween.Elan would purchase face paint and we could dress up and be what ever we wanted to be.There was usually prizes for est costume an d I think the winner got a mickey d's meal or something like that or maybe a shopping trip, i cant rememeber.

Thanksgiving we all got small personal turkeys with mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits,That was the only time we got real meat to eat, LOL.

Christmas, fuckin depressing!!!!All our gifts were sent up from our parents and loved ones t and placed under the tree.we would open them up all together and the rest of the day was free time.I don't even thing we had v/r's, elan actaully showed some sympathy and allowwed us to relax.Ofcoasre everyone was depressed because of the holiday , but we all got through it.

New Years eve, casino night, very depressing! We had craps tanle, card games, poker ect, even a bank.All students would start off with x amount of chips and at the end of the night the one with the most trips won a 13 inch color tv, which elan probably billed to the parents of the winner, LOL.

I always hated casino night, new years eve was considered the biggest paty night of the year for me.When I was at elan I would think of all the past new years eve's I attended before being locked up and ghet so lonely and depressed, it was a real rotten day for me.
I did in fact cheap on casino night one time and mananged to steal extra chips so I would be the grand prize winner, I was one of the people that worked in the bank and took 200 extra chips.But I wasn't that slick, some one caught on to me and figured that I couldn't have won all those chips.I got a talikng too about it and was denied to be entered into the contest, I played it off like it was an injustice and never copped to it.

During my stay at elan i was 19, I was trusted by the staff and was able to perform strength priveleges being a worker.As aworker I was aloowed to sleep in re entry dorms, walk to the annex myself and roam the complex without streght.All other non strength got jealous of it, but hey elan knew i could sign out and firgured i wasnt gonna split.

During your time were you still allowed to call a special group on staff?During my last view month's at elan they were weeding out that option.Marty made it a habit to deny all special groups on him, what a coward he was.

Also there was talk of banning all smoking at Elan, did this happen?The adults were alloweed 6 pack's of smoke's a week and the minors got 10 single cigarette's a week.
