So please explain to the viewing audience does this mean that these bootcamps are exonerated for any and all misappropriate conduct such as physical violence, severe verbal humiliation, food withheld, force marches in extreme heat and or cold ect.......Just because they said they are not responsible for the "CHILDRENS" emotional and mental well being. They are a military preparation school.

I don't know where you are getting those ideas from Danny.  Children in this country should be required to attend military schools.  They will learn about discipline and become role models in their communities.

I agree. If you want your child to be a strong and self sufficient individual, the military boarding school is the best option. These schools are great for those students who do not have any major behavioral issues, but just require more structure in their lives. I went to military boarding school in high school and it was a great experience. It made me a better person and made me very independent.

So here we go,let's see if we can take the thread for a ride. This thread has nothing really to do with the success of military school or not. This thread is about "Bootcamps" for children who got into trouble and it was deemed by authorities that they needed some discipline. So they were sent to these makeshift camps run by some sadistic whack jobs who for some reason thought they new what was best for mommy's children.
What we have been realizing though is these leaders have been kidnapping, physically abusing and verbally humiliating these children in the name discipline training.
The main guy was even sent to prison for his discipline training methods.
Just read the initial post I put up it spells everything out.
Just thought I would bring this thread back to its objective.

Did ya perchance mean to say... "SADISTIC whack job?"

Forgive my previous flame... It just infuriates me to hear people justifying the abuses of kids because they were so-called "bad." Have a happy holiday season everyone. :)
