Anon, why did ISAC set up the new forum? They said why when they posted here (anonymously) to announce it's opening. It was because they see the questions regarding PURE as attacks on them and as tantamount to working for WWASP.

When I posted saying I didn't much apreciate the implied threat behind posting Carey's SS#, within a few minutes a member of ISAC contacted me and asked me if it were true that I'd gone "pro WWASP". Then they proceeded to try and convince me that to question PURE is to do the work of WWASP.

And what difference does it make anyway? And why the paranoia? ISAC used to talk fondly of PURE on their website. Now they don't. No explanation. Not even any denial of the fact. Obviously, some people are affiliated with PURE in some way. But, for some damned reason, if anybody asks about the nature of the relatonship ya'll respond asif it's an accusation of some serious crime. What's that all about?

No, I think they're getting taken for a ride. That's all. On the bright side, at least this might illustrate to a lot of people how easy it is to fall prey to a virulent strain of "higher purpose" disease.
To the extent that a society limits its government to policing functions which curb the individuals who engage in aggressive and criminal actions, and conducts its economic affairs on the basis of free and willing exchange, to that extent domestic peace prevails.
