I have not found a book American Gulag to read yet. I am under the impression it has insite to the Roloff homes.I am looking to read it to see if it does tell the truth. I would know I was in the Homes from 1969-1973. I have true story of these Homes and how they also hid under a balnket of Religion to steal babies. Mine was one of them. No One wants to beleive it is true. The homes not only stole our babies but have lead adopotive parents and the adoptees to believe the service was Christian and we willing agreed to give up our children.

hi, i am new at this, i was in Roloffs home  for girls in corpus 1977 -1978.
i have been through years of counseling, i am just beginning to get over it.
it was/is  a cult and they did much damage to me and to thousands of people
i am wishing i could connect with you. not sure how to though
i have been alert to the news coverage of what has taken place in recent times and in the magazine article in Texas Monthly.
i am a true Rebekah home survivor...
there were things going on under cover, that i do agree with you immensely!

i could talk lots about what i know of the place and the camerons who were there in the time i was and still are there...
about the intercoastal canal also.. many things were hidden ....
i wish i could help you find your child....there is a site for roloff babies searches.....

thanks for being on
patricia
from huntsville,

I just now heard about the intercoastal canal from a former "student" there.  I was in REbekah for a year and had never heard of all this.  I am trying to bring attention to all this to stop Bush's faith based program.  I believe Bush is doing it for the right reasons, but has not really seen the negative effects of that program.

Gwen....Friend's mom was at Hattiesburg, MS., 1979, when her baby girl was given up for adoption, via home for unwed girls where she stayed. Wonder who handled the adoptions and all? Not much info to go on but hoping we can eventually find the child. If you have any clues, let me know.
