Oh, sorry. I suppose I should have followed up on this. Sue finally called and we talked awhile. As far as I know, she's not going to sue me. In the interest of letting sleeping dogs lie (at least the little yap dogs that are just annoying, not really dangerous) I won't go into detail about what she really wanted, which was NOT to expose all anon posters. But her request was reasonable and well within my ethical and legal boundaries to do. So I did it and, as far as I know, all's well on this count.

You're welcome and thanks. I'm trying very hard to demonstrate a very important thing here. Ya'll know that a lot of the web sites, forums and even mainstream media stories dealing with these programs have blinked out of existance, straight down the memory hole. Take a look at those that have not gone away. There's a difference.

If a company like Yahoo or MSN gets a threatening letter of demand, it's just not worth their time and trouble to verify the threat. Plus, they have huge assetts to protect and investors to consider and they're just not going to err on the side of free speech. My situation is different. I don't have a lot of assets to go after and I do have all the time in the world to well defend my cherished right to free speech.

My site isn't still up because I'm powerful or scary. My site is still up because I'm not very powerful or scary and because I know how this works. Just don't let them cow you down, folks! Go forth and put up web-sites all over the place. Print flyers and hand them out outside of TOUGHLOVE hategroup recruiting events. Don't slander anyone personally (i.e. if you're making a serious charge against an individual, make sure you can prove it). Not only will that help protect your own right to speak freely, it will also protect your credibility in future.

Freedom is that thing that you can't have unless you're willing to grant it to others. That's why I won't ban or censor people who disagree with my view of things. We are having an effect. Recruitement is down. Colon Powell will never, ever, ever again endorse something like Buffalo Soldiers Reenactors without carefully investigating who they are and what they do. And the public, in general, is growing more skeptical every day of this miracle cure for kids that piss off their parents.


After all, who wouldn't prefer Middle Earth, unless they've been corrupted by a Ring of Power?

Or if you make a serious charge against wwasp or any other program...make sure you can prove it.  That's why I believe nothing that I read unless I've seen the proof.  In m"opinion" the PURE site tells me that they are making money from narcissistic self serving agendas.

There's a difference between making a direct and explicit accusation against an individual and giving general information about something.

If just one kid complained about just one place without any evidence, that wouldn't be credible. But that's not what's going on here. We have hundreds of people who've never met eachother making essentially the same complaints about schools run by the same people over the course of years and at various locations.

In response, these individuals affiliated with these schools always say "Did not! They're all liars!" How do you make yourself believe them?
