Ammiano wants to make marijuana legal in state, by Wyatt Buchanan, SFgate, February 24 - 2009

$1.3 billion a year from tax revenues is some kind of money in a state where money is tight.

What do you think?

no way it will  happen in the near future.

ammiano is regarded as a politician who is far far left. He doesnt have enough constituents and backers to be able to pass something like that. especially with aahhnold in the governor's seat.

I will not support such an action if it is suggested by our policians.

I know that there is sideeffects and we already have plenty of alcohol the youth can drink legally.  Alcohol is something you have to take serious - no question about that, but it also secures our youth because the suicide bombers we fight in the war on terrorism don't drink, so I also tell my children to avoid sober youth when they attend parties.
