Typical. Every now and then, there are tiny articles in the paper here about yet another Arab girl found dead in a well or in a shallow grave somewhere. Usually, the murderers contact the police themselves. They consider it their duty to kill the girl, usually due to offenses such as wearing a skirt deemed too short, not wearing the hijab or niqab, talking to people she wasn't supposed to, and so forth. They are fully supported by their hamula (extended family, clan), and when they're done with their prison term, they go back home, where their relatives fix them up with decent jobs and wives.
