Horse legs for humans
14:06 Thursday 14th May 2009

A Seattle designer has come up with the ultimate gadget for people who would like to be taller and more graceful - horse leg extensions.

Kim Graham's Digtiigrade Leg Extensions add 14 inches of height to the wearer - and she claims a number of famously pint-sized actors and performers already have their names on the two-month waiting list.

The fine art sculptor says the steel extensions are much more than just stilts and insists: "They give a person the uncanny and graceful appearance of an animal."

They're made of steel, cable, foam, and rigid plastic - and, according to Ms Graham, take just 10 to 15 minutes to learn to walk in.

They apparently work well on level surfaces, although sharp inclines are difficult and stairs are downright risky.

The legs cost just £500 a pair - or £665 for spring loaded hooves for those requiring a little extra bounce.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I wrote Rick Norman this minute. Maybe this could be used at our equestrian boot camp at Stalwarts of Support in Costa Rica.

When the economy is bad a good High School exam has never been this important. Our anti Senioritis program has seen a demand like never before. We are also adressing the problem a lot of graduates from other programs face - there is no money left for education. We are in the process of making arrangement with a number of colleges and universities, so our colorful diploma designed by the famous Hungarian painter Perle Verrückt wont be the last diploma they can hang on their wall.

It is not a smart move to link to the only novel where the author makes a cameo appearance (Hint: He is a hunter). He later helped with a movie script. You know that it was the hunt of his life.

...  right...  :roflmao:

I'll tell you what does work well, though:

They're more effecient than human legs to the point where prosthetic limbed persons cannot run in the olympics because they would have an unfair advantage.

Afaik, you can get them in "shoe" form, so you don't have to cut your legs off.
