Fox 59 Indy runs pro-Pathway piece
« on: February 26, 2009, 08:55:18 PM »
Here it is, folks. The comment section isn't working right, but you can give it a try:

http://www.fox59.com/pages/landing_news ... eedID=2319

You'd think that after all the bad press that no Indianapolis station would be running a pro-Pathway story, but I guess Fox 59 doesn't get it.

Seems broke to me.  I tried to post this with two different browsers and nothing appeared.

I'm somewhat surprised to hear something positive written about Pathway Family Center considering the existing bad press, connections to Straight Inc, and allegations of abuse.  If you don't already know what i'm talking about, check out this NWI times article on the matter:

http://www.nwitimes.com/articles/2007/0 ... 029674.txt

It's funny they allow spam, though.

What do you expect... it's a fucking textual blowjob to PFC and PDFA.  Advertisement masquerading as "news".  Makes me sick.

Yeah, I tried posting a comment about 30 minutes ago with the title "No more false advertising, please!" and the info bar at the bottom of my browser page read something like "Block_ID#_so-and-so" after I pressed the submit button. Is that some kind of error message? Or something more ominous?

mine just did not go through at all.  I clicked the submit button and nothing at all happened.  It's either broke or they turned comments off.

It seems as if it works if you don't use returns in your posting.  It has to be all in one big paragraph.

Since "we" know this, it should give us an edge over the PFC folks.  They seem to have a Fornits phobia of sorts.  Rumor has it they tell parents these sites are filled with horrible viruses that will cause their computer to spontaneously combust.

I like this approach of following programs around on comment sections of news articles.  At the very least it might encourage the public to get a clue and at best, it might encourage the journalists themselves to take a second look.

We ran them off the WISH-TV forums and encouraged a second article once... let's continue.

So far so good... keep em comin folks... LOL I'm YOU, but it should show up as MILLER NEWTON at some point  :twofinger:  PFC!!!

Thank you. Your comment has been added, however there will be a slight delay before it appears on the site. Your comment should be visible within 10 minutes.
# Betty Sembler DFAF
# FOX is notorious for promoting the fear and coercive based treatment offered by the likes of ONDCP Flagship treatment at PFC. Google Betty Sembler, STRAIGHT Inc, DFAF... MILLER NEWTON and be sure to check out http://www.thestraights.com as it is packed with all sorts of info regarding this program FOX has once again featured in a positive light.
# Posted by YOU
Link
It seems the link from my previous comment did not go through. Google "Straight to Pathway" and look for the link on nwitimes.com

Learn the truth
I strongly suggest anyone looking into Pathway first visit http://www.thestraights.com, and research this place's origins. Endless incidents of abuse, physical and mental torture...get the facts before letting you kid anywhere near this place!

Mrs.
I am glad to hear about Andrew's success however, I think that parents should be aware that sometimes children just don"t listen. I have a son that will soon be 19 and the nightmare I am in with him started when he was 13. After many attempts at counseling with different levels of Doctors, and even spending a tremendous amount of money at a Military Boarding school my son refused to quit the drugs. After carrying a 4.O in high school and being in the top of his class, even being accepted to Purdue and many of the other colleges he applied the drugs won. He has recently dropped out of high school and my life. I just want to warn parents that sometimes even though you do all you can do sometimes you loose. I have put my son in God's arms at this point and can only pray that someday he will drag himself out of this hell.

Your comments are attributed to "YOU" until it gets on there permanently. Actually it is far less than 10 minutes; try refreshing after a minute or two to confirm.

Just re-emphasizing psy's point, in case it got missed:  DEFINITELY, do NOT hit return during your reply, or your post will not take.
