I am having a difficult time dealing with some memories from around 1998. A name - Brandon Hoffman - reappear from time to time.

We are talking Mount Bachelor Academy around 1997-98. My life after leaving the place was some kind of trance where I blocked my experiences from this school and focused on my career. Loosing my job last month made me sell my apartment and start living on the roads. I was unable to found a family and be part in a relationship, so why bother collecting dead things.

I really need to solve this. What was it about him? I know there is something, I don't want to remember. Please help me, so I can proceed in life!

Was there at least one link or article to the death? Our researcher has been looking since this thread was made, but she has been unsuccessful.

For lack of a better place to post this, since there are not that many MBA students (given the size and age of the program), here are some more deaths:

Aaron Meyer; @ Mount Bachelor Academy 2003 or 2004, perhaps earlier or later as well. Died May 2005, age 18. Rumored to be suicide.

Frank McGill; @ Mount Bachelor Academy 2003-2004 (maybe longer); thereafter @ Hyde School 'till 2007; @ Sober Living By The Sea 2007 or 2008? (not sure). Died February 15, 2009, age 20; suicide. Thread in the Hyde School forum HERE.

He was way before my time there but I remember his story. He had completed the first venture (I believe there were two venture life steps back then), was a phase III student, that hung himself over a break up with his girlfriend. At least that what was known when I attended.

I wasn't there but I remember hearing about Brandon's death from MBA staff. They were very surprised. I believe he was soon to graduate and hung himself. I know it was on campus.

This from wikipedia:
17 year old Brandon H. died outside the facility. The death was investigated by the Crook County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue and the Crook County Coroner’s office and ruled a suicide. (Crook County Sheriff Case # 982737)
