I will replace this bid ($90).

he'll just register another account or start harrassing people as a guest. Don't waste your hard earned money unless there is a  guarantee that he won't ever come back!

 :wall:
Yep.  That's the part I don't think most people are getting.  There is no way to effectively ban him and I really don't think Ginger or anyone else wants to spend their time digging through threads to delete his posts.  After all these years of getting his ass handed to him it's pretty clear who and what he is to anyone who even reads just a little of what he posts.  Especially recently with Ursus, Psy and a few anons that have just PWND him so completely.  And succinctly.  They manage to point out his absurdities without going too personal.  They've been short and to the point in not getting distracted by the need to win the pissing contest.

What's that saying Ginger's so fond of?  The net views censorship as [something] and routes around it.

I am fine with deleting anon posts with absurd generalities like “ programs are great,” “yes I understand so and so program was abducting and torturing kids a year ago..but that's ancient history” and that the human beings murdered by a program are "data points" that make programs today even safer… in such grat bumber that  these "points" flood this forum and make discussion  impossible....

I am not sure why this forum does not allow images (am I right about that?) but will not stop something that is so much more destructive.

My 02 cents, and other clichés softening my bossiness ?

It goes like this.

Porn disturbs parents - so it is censored.
WhoSpam disturbs survivors - so it is allowed.

Any questions?

The porn postings got out of hand for a while.  It got to where you couldn't open a thread in a public place (like work) without being bombarded by scat porn images.  I"m no prude and I'm not offended by it in the least, but it made the threads a bit tedious to sort through. That was the only complaint I had.  There were suggestions of Firefox's adblock.  Is that  viable alternative for folks?

I agree - I have no problem with porn but for the love of god - that shit was out of control.

Firefox solution was a pain in the ass for me. I gave up on it.

Can't postings with images automatically be sent to a "to be reviewed/view at own risk thread" until a moderator green lights it for public consumption?

Having a moderator 'green light' it defeats the purpose of it being free.  Although I wouldn't mind something along the lines of what FARK has, similar to your 'view at own risk' idea.  An "NSFW" (not safe for work) tag on it so the reader can opt to either click it or not.  Is something like that possible?

Of course you can't fucking ban him; any idiot realizes this. Jesus fucking Xist. The suggestion was not to ban him, but to implement some mawfukkin' cyber-guerilla tactics against him. Fuck. Does anyone here really listen? All I said to try if so inclined was for admins to delete one of his posts here and there (let Ginger not do it then if she doesn't feel like it); other admins can do it just for the fun of it, when they feel like it, just to show that FORNITS has no respect for his fucking LIES. If he never knows when to expect this, he may think twice before wasting his time again here. You never know until you try....

Its all a moot point anyway.  Ursus just bid $90 and will probably take effect when Psy gets back.  You will have to deal with other parents after that.  I wont be here to hold up that end.

Never understood why everyone got so upset.  There is no flooding.  I pretty much respond "once" to each post that responds to me or that I have an interest in.  I rarely double post and If I do I go back and delete it if I can.

And that's one more statement that proves you are indeed a big, fat liar.
