If so, my brother married her and raised a son. He's about 25 now.

The disrespect for the possession laws fosters a disrespect for laws and the system in general... On top of this is the distinct impression among the youth that some police may use the marihuana laws to arrest people they don't like for other reasons, whether it be their politics, their hair style or their ethnic background.

Yes, Pam married our middle brother. She was the girl next door. I remember Charlie O. He was an interesting person. I paid attention when he was leading raps. I remember Mavis but not Happy.

I remember Mavis and Happy.  I really liked both of them.  They were much older than I was at the time.  I guess when I think about it now Mavis kind of reminded me of Lybbi.  She was very tough but seemed to really care about everyone.

I wonder if Jack ever thanked Jim for that?

JK, Pam was alright. She was almost always good to me, anyway.

I forgot all about Hap and Mavis . Thanks for bringing up their names, yes they were a marriied couple (I think) and a bit older then  the rest.
They really were wonderful, I can't really remember what they looked liked, Didn't  Hap have a handlebar mustache?   that really goes way back.  Does anyone remember Maureen?, she also had a very young child.
She was incredible. She was from new york.

Hap and Mavis were married and now that you mentioned it I do remember that Hap had a handlebar mustache.  Mavis seemed like she was built large and I believe she used to be a bar bouncer before she came in the Seed.  There are very few people I remember from back then but they stood out in my mind.  I also think that Mavis may have put the line in the Seed song that said I'll break your leg.  It was so long ago that it is hard to remember.

It was '....your leg, I'll break'....but I can't remember why we were going to do it. Here is what I recall....

The Seed, indeed, is all you need
to stay off the junk and the pills and the weed
you come each day from 10 to 10,
(later revised to 10 for 10)
and if you screw up then you'll start again.

Junkies and freaks throughout the land
join our family hand in hand,
working together from morning til night,
to help the loser see the light.

Help me out here!

Well it was "If you screw up then your leg I'll break" of course. I remember a guy standing on the side of group w/ crutches and a cast and wondering what he'd done, too.

Such fond, loving memories, eh?

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins; all of them imaginary.

Well, I don't know, the 'if you screw up' thing was definately before 'then you'll start again' that i remember. There was some other thing associated  with leg breaking.

da da, da da, da da da, da da, and if you doooo, your leg I'll break.

maybe,
The samiches and kool-aid you'll not forsake,
and if you doooo, your leg I'll break.

no, that's not it...maybe something about 'splitting', but it has to rhyme with break!

an attempt to leave, you'll surely not make
and if you doooo, your legey I'll break.

no, that doesn't ring a toilet bowl either.

anyone remember all the verses?

HEY! i'VE BEEN PROMOTED TO 'A REGULAR AROUND HERE'! :scared: [ This Message was edited by: Thom on 2005-02-25 07:47 ]

The Seed indeed is all you need to stay off the pills and the junk and the weed. You come each day from ten till ten and if you can't dig it you'll start again.

Junkies and thieves thru out the land join our family hand in hand working together from morning till night to help the losers see the light.

Old friends or phone calls you can't make and if you do your legs I'll break.

I don't remember anymore of it.
This also is not in the right order I'm sure.
