FUCK ASR and all other therapeutic programs. They teach us to help ourselves and about responsibility. But if I remember correctly kids are the parents' responsibility. SO WHY DONT YOU FUCKING GO AND LEARN SOME GODDAMN RESPONSIBILITY. Don't send your kid away.

Since Dove, the OP of this thread, went to both Adirondack Leadership Expeditions and to Hyde School, here's yet another link between ALE and Hyde. This actually comes from HEAL-online's page for Turning Winds Academic Institute, as an aside sparked by related discussion (color emphasis added):
