(what happened to the emoticons?   The rolly eye guy came up as a smiley in preview)

•   I came across this today as well. The emoticon which has eyes rolling up in disbelief or disdain, and for which

the code reads as  ::)

comes up as  ::)

...So, there's a glitch.

•   Also: we are getting an awful lot of spam. Maybe put the reCaptcha back in place?

Old internal links no longer point to the old board, they get re-directed back to here. Any way to get to the old board?

Is it just me, or is the forum kinda "jumping" a bit? Seems tied in with activity on the Ban Box...

•    Also... do wish to reiterate again a desire for the forums on the Main Index to scroll according to recent activity.

•    Also thought I'd mention that Miss Bonney keeps complaining about the emoticon dearth, and has intimated that she will continue to use large pornographic visages of sea mammals flailing about, exposing their privates, as a substitute for the ROFLMAO fellows... To save on band width, you might wish to indulge her sooner rather than later...  ;)

Alright, you asked for it.  Is this better?  I realize it doesn't address the bandwidth issue, but I couldn't resist.  :D

I have noticed some recent posts which just are not getting the visability because they are pinned down at the bottom.  What may help, until psy gets around to fixing the scrolling issue, is to link or repost any of the more interesting posts/topics into the forums up top (if they apply)....

I am not a big emoticon user but  have been on the tail end (no pun intended) of one of Annes posts of her sea mammals exposing themselves on the beach Ha,Ha,Ha,

The scrolling of the forums on the main Index, based on most recent posting activity, is something that I truly miss.

I think it really played a big role in the sense of community around here. I can't tell you how many times I've visited a forum that was not one of my usual haunts, simply because that forum popped to the top, and I wanted to see what someone had just posted there. That feature played no small part in coaxing a greater awareness in me of just how pervasive this industry is, not to mention the kinds of issues and experiences usually more pertinent to certain forums than others.

The SMF feature that shows the five most recent posts helps, but it is not the same.

Any chance that we could get our scrolling back?   :(

Don't know for sure if it's only the stuff y'all just mentioned,
but it doesn't feel like Kansas around here anymore, Dorothy.

"Old" internal links no longer work, even ones posted but a few months ago. Would it be possible to re-link those, or let us have perusal access to the old forum?
