Tranquility bay survivor.
« on: July 11, 2003, 02:43:00 PM »
I stepped off onto the hot tarmac runway in July of 2000, escorted by police to the "resort." My parents had tricked me. I was 17 at the time, and they were going through a devorce, and I stayed in my room for quite a long time just by myself....they thought I was rebelling...so they sent me to Tranquility. I had heard of the facility in 1998, but didnt think much of it, I actually thought it was a nice teenage retreat. I quickly learned that I was very wrong. As soon as I got on the grounds, I made up my mind. I would not give into anything they tried against me. I will fight. And I will win.

I quickly found myself slammed onto a tile floor the following day, in something they called "OP."
I quickly moved myself into a military mindset. I had been tought by my cousin (Current US MARINE) 4 forms of hand to hand combat, and mental training. A few minuites earlier I had rolled my eyes at a leader. The people who were watching me began to scream, asking my why I did it. I grinned.

I screamed my name, my cousins rank, then his serial number, the automatic response for any soldier in captivity. Any questing they hit me with, they got the same answer. I was two weeks in OP, before they let me go because I gave an answer.

I guess I was the perfect model "student" at the facility. I made sure everything was strait, clean, and military-like every day, when I woke up, or when I went to sleep. I quickly gained level 2.

Slam. On the floor again, slapped with a Cat 3 at Level 3, which brung me back to level 1. This time it was for punching a level 6 for calling me a no-good-slacker, who would never be accepted into the military. (This is a huge insult to me, all the males in my family are in the military) I got 2 months in OP...he got a broken nose..it was worth it.

I liked having level 4. I got to walk around the perimiter of the facility, but I rarely did that. I stood in an open space, for everyone to see, and did 150 pushups, and 200 situps. Im a pretty strong guy, and still am. I guess a guy didnt like my show of personal body showoff, so at the following meeting, they critizied me for being a showoff. I looked around in the group. I swear...I was twice as big and probably 20 times as strong as every person in that room....I wanted to hurt them so bad...

I soon got level 5. During these times I knew it was close to my 18th birthday. I was out..almost free. I spent my time just...thinking. I have a nack for looking at a gun, and being able to break it down almost immediatly, and naming all the parts, and slamming it back together. I repeated the steps about 100 times in my head, for over 1,500 weapons...I got cought when I was subconsiously making a move to slam the reciever bolt on a ak-74 back into place with my hands...5 days in OP.

Two days before I could go home. And I was shitting EVERYONE in that entire place. I was faking it...and I am WINNING. I had gained the Level of 6...and they acctually let me go to the bathroom by myself! I walked in on a Level 2 that was by himself...masturbaiting. I wasnt phased at all, it was completely normal. But a leader came in looking for him, and saw me looking at the kid caught with his pants down. I had to issue punishment. I let the kid off easy. I had wisperd in his ear a few moments later before we came outside. "Look, just do the work, and put on a good show" I made him run 5 100 foot sprints, and do 30 pushups. He did all of that fine, I could tell, and he did put up a good show of fake-panting for the leader.

I was punished many more times at Tranquihell than the times I have told above...they are to horrible or embarasing to mention...but I might tell the tale one day.

I was released one day after my 18th birthday, with a release charge of $50 US. I came home, my parents didnt divorce, and I am completely unphased by this camp. I won, they lost. I did pin my dad to the ground a few times in revenge  (in a nice way) The only thing I got out of the camp? The want to freaking open up a can of kick-ass on the leaders that punished me there...

I reposted this here so more people may see.
