Do me a favor, would you, O struggling parents?

Visit your favorite beloved programs around Christmas. In fact, do it today. Look around - just look at the kids. You probably don't even need to say anything. Don't worry about whatever faux festivities, if any, they're putting on - just look at them, really see them.

Then tell me that you're helping anyone. I hope for your sake that you can't.

Very soon now the drug will cause the subject to experience a deathlike paralysis together with deep feelings of terror and helplessness. One of our earlier test subjects described it as being like death. A sense of stifling and drowning.
And it is during this period that we have found the subject will make his most rewarding associations between his catastrophic experience and involvement with the violence he sees.

They are ones willing to put themselves and their own needs aside for the good of their children.

A program supporter is the kind of person who'd give his/her own sister aids.

A program supporter is the kind of person who'd visit another country and spend the whole time locked up in the hotel whining about the lack of cable tv channels.

A program supporter is the kind of person who'd put their own kids in a wilderness program so their insurance company can pay for it while they take a trip to Europe so they can sit in a health spa, get their aids treated, and still whine about the lack of cable tv channels.

Have you ever actually seen the inside of a program before? The children are happy to be getting the help the need.

No, they are mostly looking at college web sites trying to decide where to go next.  The ones who drop out of programs or dont apply themselves end up at fornits.

You have to be kidding me!

I graduated a program that left me in an absolute state of clinical depression for years.  I left that place believing that no matter what I did in my life I would never be good enough, and that eventually I would be sentenced to an eternity of burning in the pits of hell for being unloveable and evil at heart.  I was told that any kind of confidence was vanity therefore I should practice self-loathing, self-hatred, etc.  This is how they helped me, by totally annialating my self-worth.  You can have their help, I don't have another 20 years to waste.

I forgot to note this in my last post.  I know 15 survivors personally that are 40+ years old and have only now healed enough to get on with their lives and are now going to college.
