GAO - Clock is ticking
« on: December 19, 2007, 09:00:56 PM »
The word on the street is that the GAO has been swamped with letters (the response has been heavy) and they have started to compile the information earlier than expected because NATSAP along with a few other corporations and federal agencies, which could be affected by the hearings outcome, are asking for disclosure prior to the hearings so that they have time to prepare and react.  The disclosure documentation takes time and was not planned for, therefore, the time to compile the information has been cut short.
There have been many letters sent, to date, and the GAO is presently focusing mainly on programs which operate using federal land and funding.  But if they receive a land slide of (legitimate) complaints against programs which operate outside the federal domain they may expand their final recommendations to include all RTC’s ...... and any regulation that results may include more than just those under the federal jurisdiction and land operations.

So you need to write in the next couple of days to make an impact,  Here is the email .. it is important to reference “GAO-08-146Tâ€

"Hey, I have an idea! Let's give good advice EXCEPT for the email! That'll stop them!"

Miller is a Congressman and so is always swamped. Emails sent to him will likely accomplish nothing (which is why you gave that email address).

The CORRECT emails to send your testimony to are:

BeckerS@gao.gov

Now let's play the game "How many email accounts did TheWho make, and how many bullshit emails did he send trying to discredit survivors by pretending to be them?"

I'm guessing a good dozen at least.

Do be reminded that this is the GAO and they deal in reality and have a poor appreciation for fiction. Remaining anon on Fornits is sane and practical but if you're going to send something to them be sure to give them detailed, accurate contact information.

Three men may keep a secret if two of them are dead, etc.

Seriously, if you thought something like THAT was going to stay under wraps (particularly in an expose-and-destroy environment like the one so thoroughly cultivated here), you need your head examined.

I didn't think it was going to stay under wraps. I do know that the exposure could have been minimized, but old CAFARTY had to make some huge public pronouncement of it. Rumors themselves don't tend to end up in slagheaps like this. And wtf does the Nutsack cunts have to do with this material? I wonder how much bribe money they spread around to get this early peek?

Don't be an idiot. NUTSPA doesn't need CAFETY to continually call and ask about what the GAO is doing. They were invited, remember? They would have told their followers to mass-mail the GAO no matter WHAT the hell we do, CAFETY letting cats out of bags early or not.

Seriously, though, this is a federal investigation. The government, as the government, has a responsibility to listen to the petitions of its constituents. It's implied right there in the First Amendment. Why the hell SHOULDN'T every survivor with a command of the English language and a functional writing/typing hand be sending detailed, informative, factual testimony to the GAO?

Very well said!!!!  The government, with all their faults, are compelled to listen to every single email that is sent to them,
that meets a reasonable criteria.  That is what they do... they listen to the people.
They may not make very intelligent decisions based on the info, but they do represent you and the emails will
count and be logged in and weighed...so it is worth your time to send them while there is some attention being made in this area.
Ths time next year Obama will be preparing to make himself a hero buy straightening out the middle east
and forming new policy...this GAO hearing will be history by then unless regulation is passed and enforced.

You may have an IV drip into the inner sanctum of "cafarty", (genius play on words, Chekhov) and psychically know about the hearings, but I don't.

Caferty is in a no win situation, where survivors finding out about hearings is supposedly bad and their fault, and contradictorily,  if survivors remain ignorant about the hearings, that’s also something bad and their fault. They are blamed for only presenting survivors who can "further their agenda".

It's retarded, sorry. And, a morality play about why communism doesn’t work. People who’ve the same goals can’t work together on any pissy thing, for the greater good. Grow up.
