The Judge just denied Class certification for the lawsuit
« on: August 24, 2007, 03:59:14 PM »
The Case against HLA was not dismissed. The Judge just denied the motion to allow class certification for the suit. We knew that would happen since right from the start the Judge sais he had not classes a suit since the 1970's.

I guess now only the Uber Wealthy families will be able to proceed with their cases against HLA. Lots of the families that would have joined the class action suit will not be able to afford to file individual suits against HLA. That just SUCKS OUT LOUD!!!

There is a suit called a "cluster suit" that can address all families affected
by fraud, negligence resulting in abuse, absconding pre-paid tuition,
first amendment rights, etc...It is being looked into...

Hopefully it will be filed in somebody else's courtroom.
