In my mind, it's a fair trade. But he'll never agree to it - way too embarrassing for him...

Now, why do you think, Dysfunction Junction, he requested this. First of all if you find a flaw in the system you expose it and document it and then correct it. Thewho asked the moderator to alter his post and the moderator in turn altered the post which proved 2 things:
1) That posts can be altered without a trail
2) The person altering the posts.
