Isabelle Zehnder Changes CAICA - Who is she trying to fool?
« on: August 16, 2007, 01:18:30 PM »
Izzy has deleted Sue Scheff from her ADVOCATE OF THE MONTH LIST
Izzy has deleted links to Scheff/PURE.
Izzy has deleted Scheff's attorney, Pollack from her Legal Resources List

Izzy's Blogger Page refers readers to: Positive Family Solutions--not to CAICA; Yet, the Positive Family Solutions webiste is not on-line.

Izzy took down her Whitmore Blog; is this another attempt to distance herself from Sue Scheff; and Scheff's Whitmore blog?

BUT:  Izzy joined in with Sue Scheff to help close down FORNITS.
Claimed she had to shut down CAICA due to her family's fear from "death threats" posted on fornits.

Does Izzy's recent distancing from Sue Scheff/PURE appear insincere; perhaps self-serving?
Who might Izzy be trying to fool?

Sue Scheff, like Romney, has ties to an organization that a lawsuit alleges fraud and child abuse.  The name of the organization is PURE.  Scheff's own company ... and the very one Isabelle Zehnder is referring people to from this profile page.

Think Zehnder might want to make this legal complaint (Green v. Scheff et al) available on CAICA along with the other complaints she has published?

And how about putting Focal Point on CAICA's watchlist?  I haven't checked.  Is it there?

Full Disclosure (eg. lawsuit against PURE and Focal Point) - not verbose disclaimers - is what helps promote "parent awareness" Isabelle.  Funny how you just can't seem to grasp this concept yet claim to be a children and parent advocate.

Why would Isabelle Zehnder list Scheff/PURE as an "interest" on her profile sheet?  That seems rather weird.  An interest?

Yes guest, it would appear Isabelle Zehnder and Sue Scheff are attempting to put some sort of "distance" between themselvs.  Scheff even deleted CAICA from her "helpful" website links and no longer mentions her award as CAICA's "Advocate of the Month" on PURE's front page.

Is it just me, or does the "timing" (so close to the filing of the lawsuit filed against PURE and Focal Point) seem a bit odd to others, as well?

Where's the public announcement that the two blogging divas are no longer "friends and/or colleagues"?

Stay tuned!!! Me thinks there is a much bigger story to be told.

Is it possible Isabelle realized she was being played for a fool, and that Sue would throw her to the wolves :D, use her up and throw away.
Like she did adding Isabelle to her letter to GoDaddy.
Maybe Isabelle ditched Sue, when she saw the Lawsuit.
Who Knows? Isabelle?

Since Isabelle was referring children to Scheff/Pure; could Izzy possibly be involved with Focal Point Academy in anyway, too?

There was specualation that Izzy was posting lengthy posts as "Mom-to-Matt" on Struggling People and on Fornits  about Focal Point Academy. These posts appeared immediately before the lawsuit against Scheff and Focal Point was filed.

Izzy states that she has a long legal career; she's even posted that she's a paralegal. On various websites, Izzy has claimed to have some college background.  So, Izzy doesn't seem to present herself as someone who could be easily fooled or used by someone like Scheff.
Izzy has claimed  Scheff as a colleague and friend; and Izzy made Scheff CAICA's "Advocate of the Month."

Now it does appear that Izzy and Scheff no longer want to been viewed as connected in a business-sense.  Wasn't there a recentl blog by one of these blogging divas that stated they were "helping families together?"

If something has happened to cause Izzy to withdraw such an honor as CAICA's  "Advocate of the Month," shouldn't Izzy make the public aware of why she came to such a sudden decision?  And, this does appear to be a sudden decision.  Just recently Izzy and Scheff were fighting together to close down Fornits, weren't they?

MUCH, MUCH BIGGER STORY

This is what I  surmise.  Sue may have lied to Iz re: business practices, Focal Point Lawsuit, etc.  Iz may have done her own research, called Sue on the table regarding apparent lies.  Iz may be worried of the possibility that she may be inadvertantly brought into this lawsuit.  Fight may have ensued...

Isabelle Zehnder and Sue Scheff Helping Families

Isabelle Zehnder and Sue Scheff - Team work
Sue Scheff and Isabelle Zehnder believe in team work. They not only work with each other but they work with a group of other professionals who all share the same goals - to keep families together whenever possible and to help find safe alternatives when it is not possible.

Isabelle Zehnder is the Founder and CEO of Positive Family Solutions, LLC, and the Founder and President of the Coalition Against Institutionalized Child Abuse (CAICA).

Sue Scheff is the Founder and President of Parents Universal Resources Experts (PURE) and the author of At Wits' End (coming soon).

Today more than ever families are seeking outside help for their children and teens. Today more than ever parents are enrolling their kids into programs and facilities without really understanding what they are getting their child into. They don't realize they are dealing with an unregulated industry that has no governmental oversight.

While both Sue and Isabelle wish all families could stay together and resolve their issues at home that is not always possible. There is a rise in judges giving parents and teens the option to spend a year in a program rather than face a criminal record that will follow them for the rest of their lives. Parents and teens often choose this option.

And often parents are faced with issues with their teens that they feel they cannot resolve on their own. They need outside intervention and often need it quickly. There are times things are so out of control at home that there is no other option but to seek outside intervention.

Often they find Sue and Isabelle asking for advice as to where to send their child. If these parents are turned away the likelihood of their child being placed into a potentially abusive environment is high.

The teen-help, troubled-teen industry has grown into a multi-billion dollar a year industry and there is no sign of it slowing down anytime soon. Many people wanted a piece of the pie. They opened programs without having the experience, credentials, or knowledge as to how to help children and teens faced with issues such as cutting, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, anger issues, eating disorders, suicidal tendencies, drug addiction, etc. Often they hire untrained, unqualified, non-certified staff which has resulted in children being abused, neglected, and in too many children dying.

Sue has worked for the past seven years helping parents and kids. Her goal has been to find safe alternatives where children will receive the help they need, not be warehoused for profit. She visits programs, keeps in close contact with the directors and staff, and stays in touch with families. Her organization is a member of the Better Business Bureau. Parents have reported great success for their kids and kids have reported the programs made a huge difference in their lives.

If children are placed into programs that offer a therapeutic environment where the staff treat children with respect, trust, and love, the chances for success are high.

Alternatively, if children are placed into a program where there is a lack of respect, trust, and love, the chances of abuse and maltreatment to children are high.

Isabelle has worked for years exposing abuse in residential treatment centers, the foster care system, juvenile justice systems, mental health facilities, and schools.

Isabelle is a Family and Life Coach. Her goal is to keep families together whenever possible. She has spent the past four years learning about and reporting abuse in residential treatment programs, boarding schools, behavior modification programs, wilderness programs, etc. Often parents have said to her, "if I knew then what I know now, I would never have sent my child away."

Isabelle has listened to all of their stories to assess where things went wrong within the family unit. She has learned that there is often a lack of communication between parents and kids and other issues that can often be resolved between the parents and the teens. She has been successful in keeping families together who otherwise would have been torn apart.

While Isabelle would like to be able to help all families that turn to her, it is not always possible. Sometimes she is faced with a situation that calls for outside intervention, as mentioned above. During those times she turns to Sue for help.

And when Sue receives a call from a desperate parent and feels the issues could possibly be resolved at home she will suggest parents call Isabelle to see if coaching may help keep their families together.

Sue and Isabelle do not profit from each other, nor do they have any financial relationships. This is about parents helping parents and coming together for the common goal of helping families.

Sue and Isabelle believe in team work. They not only work with each other but they work with a group of other professionals who all share the same goals - to keep families together whenever possible and to help find safe alternatives when it is not possible.

I think we need an Isabelle Zehnder Truth blog.

Or at least a section on Sue Scheff Truth.

Obviously, these two share some history, both as "friends" and "colleagues".  The Patti Atwoods emails also contained some interesting revelations.

Bottom Line:  No public declaration from Zehnder or Scheff to confirm they have parted ways suggests to me that something else must be going on behind the scenes.

It's not like Isabelle wasn't warned about Sue Scheff's PURE nonsense website, her affiliation with Sue, and Gayle DeGraff, AKA, Gayle Palmer.  We would need to include Sue Scheff's bookend, Marie Peart.

I have a question for anyone who might know??

How did these women team up with one another?

I would really like to know how Sue Scheff and Gayle DeGraff, AKA Gayle Palmer became a team?

Just curious.........
