Anybody remember these people?
« on: August 11, 2007, 04:41:41 PM »
My name is Shannon Moore. My brother Sean was in there as well. We lived on an island that you could only get to by boat. It seems a lot of people remember us by that. We were in there from like 1988 or so to like 1990 or so. I still have a few of my MI's. I'll go dig them out and see if I can find few more names that people might remember.

Have you checked the Life Reunion 2004 website?  You might want to start there. My sister was in the program and a lot of familiar names you left out on that list.

The LIFE reunion site?  Oh yeah, the reunion attended by a bunch of proud ex-staffers who were eagerly anticipating the arrival of Ms. Pete.

Sounds fun.

Rachael, I can't find the link right now.  I'll see if I can get it to you.

hello, I was on staff in LIFE for more than a couple years. Many staff members were "brainwashed" and threatened with Startovers  for not doing the job. Basically if you were not A born again chrisitan  you were an outsider and GOD FORBID you listened to 95 YNF.
I digress,  Working conditions for staff members SUCKED  . really was a tale of modern day slavery.
most staff members were under 18, and totally at the mercy of whatever crackhead or crack heads wife was in charge that day.

I remember going to 95 YNF rallies up in Tampa (obviously after I got out of LIFE) what a great place for a 17 year old kid to hang out!  :P

Shannon---Hi, I remember your home. It was so cool. I stayed with Sean and your father for several months. We got lost one night coming home from group because the fog on the water was too thick to travel through. I also remember one morning, while Sean and I were getting ready for work he got bit by a scorpion. Ouch! Sean was a nice kid. How's he doing?

I was in the program from 87-89 I think. A few of the friends I had back then were:

Chris Scruggs-Tampa
Guy Bayless-Lakeland
Kerbie Williams---he was hysterical
Susan Corrigan--dated her when I 7th Stepped
Tonya
Barron Mays is the one that got murdered after 7th Stepping
Jamie also was murdered from Tampa (don't remember his last name)
Holly Mann--was admitted to the program after my parents convinced her parents. Nice going!!!!
Paul--I can't remember his last name. He was a kid that had to be restrained practically every day by me and others. Unreal. Paul, if you ever read this--my apologies goes out to you. It was wrong for how we treated you and it is always wrong for how all of you were treated in that program.

Hi Hampton and Holly--I heard that Susan Corrigan committed suicide a few years back. I always liked her and her family. It was cool staying at her house out on the farm.

Sean is doing well and living in Port Charlotte he is working as a surveyor. No kids and not married.

I remember all the people on you list, Hampton. I had forgotten about several of them---Guy, Kirby and several others.

Good to hear from you both. Drop me a line sometime-
