Glitches From the Move to Canada
« on: August 07, 2007, 10:54:46 AM »
When sending a PM, I get the following error message:

Failed sending email :: PHP ::
DEBUG MODE
Line : 234
File : emailer.php

Mail actually ends up going through, but I have no way of knowing for sure until I check my "Out" or "Sent" folders.

This started happening sometime yesterday.

Thanks!

And all the options like "notify me when a reply is posted" have been changed to read "notify me when a reply is posted, eh?".

Fucking Molson drinking lumberjack yahoos.

Actually, not much is known about Canada, since it has never been visited by anyone except for illiterate ice fishermen and the Queen of England, but it is thought to resemble sort of an Arctic Nebraska.  It is extremely hard to distinguish a Canadian from a very boring regular white person, so be careful if you are on the Florida coast in January-----those black Speedo-wearing, lardy Canucks will try to pass off theri worthless currency to you at any opportunity.  You have been warned.

Had difficulty logging in when I chose "log in to check private messages" option.  Got this error message:

http://support.netfirms.com/idx.php/0/002[/url]

Did not encounter this problem when I subsequently tried to log in more simply.

Also:  am not receiving notification when I receive a PM; am not receiving notification when a topic I am watching gets a reply post.

Thanks.

Try first discarding all your cookies.  I think that there are actually only 2 but it might depend on your browser, and things might be different with this new ISP plus it being Canada...

Then try quitting your browser and starting over.  That should do it, at least for the more crippling issues...

Don't know if that was what did it, but now I'm not even asked for a confirmation code.

Thanks.

When clicking on a user's profile, I get this error message instead:

Template->loadfile(): File /mnt/w0106/d41/s19/b02bbe1c/www/fornits.com/wwf/templates/GreenTech/profile_view_body.tpl for handle body is empty

1. The pm gets sent. No need to check.
2. Mail notifcations do not get sent.
3. The problem is solved but won't be fixed until later today.
