These good old boys know how to land on their feet. Bounced out of Costa Rica to good old Missippi.

I wonder how much involvment the Fountains, of Bethel Academy, had in the setting up of Gulf Coast Academy?

IMO, Gulf Coast Academy is simply the newest name for Bethel Academy/Respect Camp/Eagle Point Academy etc.

This system is like a worm you cut in 1/2 rather than dying it just regrows

exact address
« Reply #5 on: June 29, 2007, 07:11:55 AM »
Would anyone please give me the exact address. I will create a page on my site about this facility. I have managed to locate and create a sat.image of both TB and Casa (TB is not up yet, but it will come.)

All those addresses, I have found:

174 Cedar Lane
Mill street.

must be private addresses. I can not see a facility regardless if I use Google, Msn or Mapquest. (Aspen Ranch in Loa, Utah is not on Msn, but on mapquest. Sometime firms are paid to remove stuff from their website for a obivious reason, but they can not pay them all off.)

It is tragic that an entire town seems to be willing to be the centre of private prison. For some reason Lucedale, MS attracts them all.

Do you have some sort of hard confirmation on that?  Remember the Fountain family are the owners of Bethel Academy not wwasp. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to put Narvin Litchfield down as the owner if Bethel already is owned and operated by the Fountains.

Given the area's receptiveness to these sort of shitholes it wouldn't surprise me if Narvin and his buddies choose it spefically for the ease of operating a facility free of government interferance. For all the hue and cry over the atrocities commited at Bethel the place is still in operation.

That facility has had many names since it was first bought by WWASP in 2004. Its current name is Pine View Academy. Only makes sense that they change its name again.
Both "Pine View" and "Gulf Coast" are located in Lucedale, MS. Just how many gulags can a small town hold?

But, no, I have no hard evidence. Just my own knowldge of the history of that place and the ways of the WWASP.

The Fountains do not own Bethel (currently known as Pine View Academy). They sold it to WWASP back in Aug 2004. Now they just run it.

Sad, unfortunate, and true.

I didn't realize the fountains had sold the place to wwasp. I was under the impression they had just joined was as another of their regional schools.

Hmmm.. easy way to test this theory to see if Gulf Coast is actually bethel.

This is the Bethel Academy Contact page. We are excited about your visit to our site. This page is provided to assist you in contacting us regarding the needs of your child.

The physical address of the Bethel Campus is:
2147 Mill Street Extension,
Lucedale Ms, 39452.

The mailing address for Bethel Academy is:
174 Cedar Creek Lane
Lucedale, MS, 39452
The telephone numbers :

http://http://www.bethelacademy.org

So it does seem to appear that Gulf Coast Academy is merely Bethel/Pineview renamed if you compare the above address to that given by Covergaurd. Normally Covergaurd is pretty good about providing good information.

Rather chilling....

Some of that information is at least ten years out of date.

Gulf Coast was being renovated last year, at least that's what I was told, and as far as I know, they require 30 days in their "Basic Training", Wilderness Program prior to entering.  Their site also pushes Carolina Springs and Pillarsofhope in Costa Rica.

This is the lovely school Midwest recommended, however we were informed there was a "Mandatory" thirty day wilderness program that had to be attended before they would let you're child in.  My answer: Absolutely NO Freakin' way.  Anyone who sends their kids to a wilderness camp is insane and should be given shock treatment.
