Some interestin information about harmonicas there, webdiva.

Harmonicas are great.  They fit into your pocket so you can go to a party without anyone even knowin you have one on ya.  Then when the time is right you can create something beautiful when  no-one is expecting it.  That's one of my favorite tricks.  The trick is to subtly accentuate what is already bein played, whether or not that be live acoustics or recorded music.  I find that harmonica lends itself quite nicely to reggae.

i love the harmonica.. although i can honestly say i haven't heard much reggae via harmonica, but the little i have heard was quite nice. i think anything kinda "groove like" would be cool.  how about a little thievery!?! ha that would be tight!
