ISABELLE ZEHNDER (CAICA) PRO BONO SERVICES
« on: May 31, 2007, 06:44:09 PM »
The hours she has spent being interviewed by reporters has been pro-bono.

Hello?  Lgitimate news organizations DO NOT PAY for interviews.

The endless number of hours she has spent creating what professionals have referred to as "the most comprehensive website on the topic of the teen help industry and children and teens abused in residential care" has all been done on a volunteer basis.

What professionals?  Inquiring minds would like to know.  Second, you fail to give "credit where credit is due" to the sources you used to obtain a great deal of the information on your website which has NOT gone unnoticed by the orginators of this material.

The CAICA website has been used by many researchers, reporters, lawyers, university students, parents, victims, and others.

Big Whup. FORNITS, ISAC, HEAL, TAUSA, CAFETY, and many others can make the same claim so please, do yourself a favor and get over yourself.

"PRO BONO?"

Is IZZY possibly making reference to what she has referred to in the past as her "cushy former legal career?"

It has reportedly been said that Izzy's husband that she makes reference to was in some type of security business. Anybody know about this business? Could this possibly have any reference to the previous question asked about Izzy and the escort/transport business?

I NOMINATE THIS AS POST OF THE YEAR.

Most of the information on her site.. ..has come from other sources... and I do not see where she promotes or credits the individuals who generously offered the material.  "pro bono"

Instead of posting as MOM-CAT, perhaps Izzy might want to change that user name to COPY-CAT?

If I may, I would like to second the above comment..............

If I may also say, there are "TRUE" Child Advocates, and those like Isabelle and Sue who choose to have selective hearing and sight.  They only advocate what they want to hear and see, while down playing what has happened to children in other programs as well.

All we hear from Isabelle and Sue is, WWASP, WWASP, WWASP!!  Not that WWASP doesn't deserve the criticism.  But, a "TRUE" Child Advocate knows the whole "teen help" industry is dysfunctional, out-of-control, and in need of Federal Legislation.  Starting with the so-called "escort service," referral business and their 'pimp' daddies.

I agree ... that was a good post and a great way to assoicate this business.

I guess that would make those who refer parents to this programs:         "referral whores"

sounds about right to me.
