AARC Can't Last
« on: May 16, 2007, 10:39:24 PM »
For any AARC survivors who come upon this site, take heart.  All About Receiving Cash is built on a foundation of lies.  The Wizard of Vause is a dodgeball instructor, a salesman and a perverted bully, but he is no doctor.  He takes in children who are not addicts, he cannot treat real drug addicts, and everything about him and his organization is a fraud.
No one has stood up to AARC until now.  The children who lived through the abuse and humiliation are adults, and they are pissed.
The Wiz provides parents with easy answers to complicated problems, and so they love him.  He takes advantage of families with troubled children and tells the parents that everything can be blamed on a disease.  When it becomes obvious that he cannot help the children, and in fact harms them, the parents are too ashamed and guilt-ridden to admit the truth.  He has conned officials in our justice system, and used the worst of our politicians to build up his fraudulent little kingdom.
Children who have smoked marijuana a few times or drunk alcohol go through the same ridiculous rituals as children who have extensively used hard drugs.
He has absolutely no training to help people who have drug dependency, and there is no science to back-up anything he does.
He is a narcissist who loves to be in the spotlight so that he can stroke his own ego and pad his wallet.
He lied about his background in sport so that people would associate him with the glamor of professional hockey.
More of his website is devoted to media attention for his fundraising than it is to explaining how AARC could ever hope to help somebody.
He lied about researching his Ph.D., he has repeatedly lied when he calls himself a psychologist, and he lies about how many people  are helped by AARC.
There is nothing to AARC and nothing to the Wizard of Vause but greed and a lust to control the lives of others.
AARC and the Wizard of Vause hurt children.  AARC breaks their spirits and crushes their souls in an attempt to make them nothing without the Wiz and AARC.
It is difficult for young people to believe that their families could put them in a place so harmful.  It is difficult for children to understand that a truly sick person was given control of them, and was willing to hurt them to please himself.  It is difficult to believe that this kind of man is praised in the media and affects all the signs of success in our society.  And when they leave AARC the only way any of it makes sense is for children to believe that they caused it, that something is terribly wrong with them.
It is not you, survivor of AARC.  It is AARC.  AARC is a disgrace to this city, a disgrace to this province, and a disgrace to humanity.
The Leader is a deranged criminal, and his henchmen, like Stanhopeless and Choda are the worst kind of human; they prey on the vulnerable, our children, and pat themselves on the back for doing it.
The Wizard of Vause is not who he says he is, and that is why he will be stopped.  AARC is not what it claims to be, and that is why it will be shut down.
No one can give back the time taken from you in AARC.  No one can take away the damage done to you.  But you are not crazy, you are not sick, and you can live.
Good luck to you.
