It has been posted that the full-length version of the Tranquility Bay Documentary, when viewed in its entireity, does not present Sue Scheff as some "hero mom" as seen on this shortened, edited version.
The full-length version, "The Lost Children of Tranquility Bay," reportedly presents a more balanced viewpoint.
Wonder what is still holding up the release of this full documentary in the United States?
I'm going to France at the end of July. I will pick up a copy, rip it, and post it online.
What is holding up the release? Hm. Concerns about legal liability probably. Regardless of libelous content, WWASP will sue. They will get to say "we contest these accusations presented within, and are taking them to court" and buy themselves some PR time until the aftermath of the film's release subsides. That's my guess. Unless some of us release it for them, in which case, they aren't liable. As long as they can survive the 15 minute memory of the public, they're basically covered. And Unless some fornits assholes decide to harp on it incessantly so they can't forget.
Burn the DVD, put in CD envelopes, tape em to copies of the Post in public newspaper boxes. Let's see... I'm have a stack of 100 DVDs here. That's a lot of frickin damage. Sunday paper is probably the best target.. Outside a Dennys. Conservative Christians often frequent such establishment (after church brunch), and they already see Mormonism as a cult.
Another good target to "DVD-bomb" might be a college, or a high school. Get kids talking about these things.
Seminars. We're scattered all over the US. So are parents. Multiple seminars, same date, maximum effect. Date set in private so they can't prepare. Show up at once. Get the parents to take a look. Wear t-shirts (buy at comp-USA and print on em), fliers, bumper sticker their cars with URLs to fornits or Insider's View, pamphlets on the windshields with explanations... Spies in the hotels chit-chatting with parents, looking at room numbers on keys and delivering information under the room doors. Deck the halls with so much information they can't possibly hide it from the parents, or attempt damage control. Could you imagine them going up to parents, saying.. "Um... sir... we really need those DVDs. They're not good for this seminar, or your son's program. It will cause large amounts of negativity! and your son will DIE!!!" I bet you some would comply But I bet you there would be a few parents nearby to say "what the fuck are you doing!?! why don't you want me to see this... and it will give that information all the more credibility" Even the ST parents have started to question the censorship. As to content, Why expose the LGAT nature of the seminar when it takes so much longer than a large poster of a kid in a dog cage, or the hobbit. Get their attention for long enough to take a look... then give them 40 page sworn statement about the seminars... Text it easy to ignore. A large glossy of abuse, captioned with, "this is what these people do to your kid when you aren't looking". could be unsettling at the very least. If only 1 of the 20 or so parents at the seminar reads it, and is influenced, do you think they will stay silent? No. the "Negativity" will spread, and soon the staff will have a full out rebellion... ironically with parents.
Essentially, it's a "Sophie Scholl" approach to information distribution. Some might argue that people might not care, but the documentary, as it is... it's hard to ignore. The montana PBS documentary is damn good too. There is mountains of stuff out there documenting WWASP, and there's nothing stopping somebody with a $250 telescope with an SLR back strapped on from making even more news.
