My dad wants to come.. I think it's just because he doesn't want me to be around other "druggies" but hell.. he might learn something.  Is it kosher for him to come...  or is this strictly for survivors of shitholes?
The point of the movie isn't to educate SURVIVORS.  I Can't see Nick having a problem with a  survivor wanting to enlighten a parent. i think that would be the ultimate purpose of the movie. Fuck yeah bring your dad, no question. I don't think you even have to ask. I hope you can get him to go.

I would love to force my mother, et al to sit and watch that film. I'll be buying a copy of the DVD when it's officially released (the 7th art version isn't the official release, and I believe the director has some sort of issue w/ it: http://p081.ezboard.com/fkidsofelpaso19 ... =343.topic).

I am really interested in seeing the other people who come out to watch it too.

Rachael

Great... How do we know who is who..

Its pretty obvious that "Rachael" is really Samantha "Did you see me on Montel" Monroe.

The pioneer Theater is great, they had the “Slamdance” film screenings there a few years ago, I believe, which was a nice take.  Maybe I will head in with my daughter, we haven’t done the theater in awhile.
There is a nice place to eat “Angelo and Maxies Steak house”…this is a must for those who like steak and would like to experience New York dinning.  It’s a little too far to walk from the Pioneer, you will need a cab, but it is worth the extra time.

Yes,and your daughter can give you another blow job in the darkened theater while she remenisces about the wonderful time she had in the abusive program you forced her in to.
Maybe you both can "motivate" together along with the cheerful kids in the movie.
I cant think of a more rewarding bonding father/daughter experience, watching that movie an reliving those program times together.
Its a shame more kids dont have a great dad,"The World's Greatest Dad",like you.

you would have to be a complete idi... oh wait.. you are.

Show up.  We'll have a grand old time.  Just make sure to announce real friggin loud: "I AM THE WHO"... People just love you to death they do..

seriously. not only is it a bad idea, it's a really really bad idea.  This is for survivors and families.  unless you consider your daughter a survivor...  which you don't.  and you just want to rain on the parade.  Rent the dvd.  k.

I am especially good at the "confronting"... wouldn't it be fun to show him the program definition of that word :D
