Still wondering why he changed his last name... wanted to be progressive and take his wife's? or something more sinister?

And WTF is up with this picture?

Is it me, or are most of those people wearing white? That's makes the post propheet/workshop experience seem even more creepy and cult-like than it already was. Holy crap. Does anyone here from RMA remember if we wore white like that for coming out of a propheet or workshop? In the pic, this looks to be the summit, cause we all danced, but it might be different between campuses.

Fuck, I wish I had had this image about three weeks earlier. I could have used it for the "brainwashing" section of my troubled teen industry trailer video. It is SUCH a perfect example!

Seriously, that picture gives me the willies. Keep it up there for as long as you can!

Anyway, thanks for putting up the photos. When were you at running springs? Since the pic of Patrick is there, it must have been before summer of 87, cause that's when he moved up to Idaho to work with us. I think he got there about two days after I did.

if there are any issues (i don't think so but you never know), i'll host the files and they can deal with me, and i'm a real prick to people who try and enforce censorship.

Yeah... this dude had the same counselor I did for much of the time at Benchmark. (he didn't go to benchmark, but a bunch of staff later migrated there when it opened, when the CEDU ship stared to sink)  Prick's name was Carl Janowitz.  Evil fucker ...  He was at cascade and a bunch of other hellholes ... evil... even my parents thought he was evil when they talked to him... my mom says "god told her" that he was lying, and she knew "something was very wrong".  I don't give a shit who told her.  I'm glad they finally came down and checked shit out.  It's a real pity she didn't want to hear more...  when I got home Benchmark was a taboo topic...  It was verboten... I should have forced the issue earlier.... but I was horrified of being sent back... or to any place like it, or the streets. if i broke the "taboo" rule... I guess "bans" does have a longer term function if you think about it: keep kids shut up.  Combined with a "home contract" that's a direct "instruction" from program if you think about it.  All it has to do is last 2 years (statute of limitations) and the program is safe from a lawsuit.  Most survivors it takes at _least_ 5 years to figure shit out and start talking about it.  some 10, 15, 20... etc.

Ugh Carl Janowitz is a perverted nasty old man!  He gave me the creeps back then at Cedu in Running Springs and he found me via the classmates site and told me he wanted to do me and a few of the other gals in my peer group and the one below mine.  Even emailed me details of nasty things he thought about doing to me. sick fu%&er!

Carl Janowitz was a weird creepy vindictive fuck. He made these disneyfied songs that he would play on the piano about all his favorite kids at the time and what they did together to the whole house.
I can tell you how he left CeduRS:
He was originally planning on moving on, I think this was in 91, and he told everyone and his final week was like send-off week because they rarely had staff that left on a good note. He had all these final smush piles at night with all his fav kids or anyone who wanted to say goodbye and after all that; he decided that he didn't want to leave after all and changed his mind. He got ripped apart in raps for two days after that. Rudy even ripped in on him and was sick of him. I don't think they ever meshed professionally anyway. He was forced to leave or 'resign' and we never heard from him again, although I think he may have visited once after.
