Yeah, I knew they filed it. Before they did they went scrambling, retroactively checking references and backgrounds on their employees - something that obviously should have been done before they were hired, but I digress...

So, they did try to clean house and get ready for their review.  But, in the bigger picture, these are good things.  They're being forced to conform to the rules of the road and the kids will only benefit from it.

I haven?t followed much of this thread, read a very few testimonies from kids and have been away for most of the past year but it looks like you did a good thing getting them to file, be happy for that, for the kids.  Getting them sued or closed, in my opinion means crap or worse, the kids will go someplace else or they will reopen someplace else (unlicensed).
If you did it for the right reasons, you should feel good, and good for you and my hat off to you????.

Can't you ever go away? Don't fuck up another forum!

To "TheWho":

You have known about HLA and all the vile, illegal things that have gone on there. HLA HAS BEEN UNLICENSED SINCE 1994 FOR THE TYPE OF SERVICES THEY CLAIM TO PROVIDE - GET OUT FROM UNDER YOUR ROCK. YOU could have done something, but instead you decided to be a coward and keep defending them despite knowing the real facts.

Do us all a favor: Keep posting to this forum so you can demonstrate how many people (such as yourself) continue to deny the real situation, and pretend that places such as HLA are doing more good than harm. You are pathetic; I hope that every child, parent, friend, and family members harmed by these facilties haunt you.

TheWho:
Didn?t mean to rile everyone up, but just stopped in to say nice job, didn?t realize HLA filed for a license.

It's March 1. You've made your point, your honor.

The first court date for the petition to certify this class action was on 01-31-07. The 2 month time period would not be up until 03-31-07. At least that is the way I read it. Does anyone else agree with that?
