Thank you for starting the long process that will hopefully end in all of us celebrating the day when the state of Maine puts the padlock on the doors of Elan 1! I can't wait to see all of them houses cleared out for good and hopefully each state that has a kid in Elan at that time will actually think before they send the kid to another placement.
 Elan is an easy out for these states. No where else to put a "bad" kid? Send em to Elan! They will hold them for atleast 36 months if need be. I pity the ones I did see there for 36 months!

Elan and the people who support Elan did a bang up job of screwin lifes up. The damage may of been obvious from the get go or the damage may not of surfaced for many years whatever the damage done to us students needs to be recognized. It will not "cure" anyones trauma but it will be a hudge relief to see our issues with Elan addressed and most importantly acknowledged once and for all.
We did not lie. We did not tell stories for attention or because we were mad at our parents or Elans staff. We told the truth about how we were treated and how we saw others treated.
No matter how old we were then or are now it will be so awesome to know our efforts to expose the insanity of Elan were not in vain.

I hope that those who passed on will look down upon the earth on the day that Elan is served its eviction papers and be able to smile knowing that justice has been served.

Like I have said before that Elan ignored the
needs of the students who were OBVIOUSLY mentally ill, who were obviously victims of severe abuse in any shape or form, who were obviously suffering from some form of substance abuse/eating disorder/self mutilation disorder, ect.
There were circumstances that caused every kid to "act out" and to be sent to Elan. Some were straight up brats. All they needed was to be grounded and have their allowence taken away from them. I enjoyed seein them types knocked down a peg or two. It was funny to see them be told "NO"! I actually smiled a true smile on those days :)
It PISSED me off to see some of these young assed kids with fresh bruises on them from the last beatin some drunk assed parent gave them be crucified for not wanting to scream in an encounter group or drop a slip or participate in the feeling portion of a GM.
HELLO ASSHOLES this kid needs some serious therapy with a professional that will help ease their pain and validate them as a human being not as a punching bag.
Them recovered junkies.whores AKA staff in Elan were jokes and freaks who deserve every bad thing in life that has come to them and is still waiting to come to them.

Why in God's good name did she EVER keep Elan up and running after her miserable excuse for a human being died?!

Has she no heart beating in her body? was it buried with Joe's black shriveled up one?

Not everyone is ruled by money re-re. Some might take said money and do something productive with it. Obviously Elan did not work for such a negative foul mouthed little hooligan such as yourself. I would not waste more hard earned money on trying to rehabilitate a re-re such as yourself. You my little friend are not worth time nor money. Besides states have FREE mental health help for poor people as seriously disturbed as you appear to be. Call 211 Infoline and BEG for help son it must be really hard trying to relate to people in todays society with such a negative self image. I know you feel like the world let you down and we all owe you something but with anti-psychotic's and a few months of intensive inpatient therapy schizophrenia is manageable.
I am sorry the genetic gene pool let you down. To bad you can't sue your parents chromosomes. Or can you????[/color]
