Yeh, I think it was an Aspen wilderness program, if memory serves. From the UK Brat Camp series. It happened during intake. If I stumble across the link I'll post it.

Thats some kind of sloppy shoulder-twisting technique, I think combined with some fucked up wrist lock.

Wrist locks are fucking BANNED from almost all MMA and BJJ competitions... for a reason. IT IS DANGEROUS.

Also, shoulder locks like that are not 'restraint'. They are ATTACKS MEANT TO MAIM AND INJURE. If someone was actually out of control, they could seriously fuck themselves up. And using pain compliance on anyone, a child like that, is fucked up. Majorly.

But, hey, as long as some fuck wad rode on Oprah's coat tails, hey, lets send em to go get fucked, right?

:flame: I'd love to show them how to really do a fucking shoulder attack.

DannyB on the internet:I CALLED A LAWYER TODAY TO SEE IF I COULD SUE YOUR ASSES FOR DOING THIS BUT THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE.

CCMGirl on program restraints: "DON\'T TAZ ME BRO!!!!!"

TheWho on program survivors: "From where I sit I see all the anit-program[sic] people doing all the complaining and crying."

What really pisses me the fuck off is when they go "I'm not hurting you" and trying to console her throughout, in both this vid and the #2 in the right-hand list.

Fucking bullshit.

These people all deserve to be killed.

They use brute force because they are lacking the intelligence to do anything else. They have no useful skills, even less than the parents. And take everything personally. People go into this line of work for a reason. And it has little to nothing to do with really caring about or being of any real use to kids.

Not even by her mom: From: http://shinymedia.blogs.com/tvscoop/tv_reviews/

---
Georgie, who managed to thud her big clunky hands against the arms of a Brat Camp Hippie, went on quite a journey, after the camp gave in, and sent her to somewhere even tougher (and probably twice as infuriating). After being sent an a farm to work, Georgie came back, seemingly still unable to form proper words, but all the calmer for it. In fact, it showed her at her new job... which seemed to be walking a tiny horse around. Weird. A highlight of the Georgie section was when her mother asked if she was bothered when she saw the footage of being restrained by camp staff... she basically didn't care less. Brilliant!

Motherly love? Seeing your child being beaten up on national television and do not care?

Brat camp 3
« Reply #13 on: January 15, 2007, 03:30:53 AM »
She was on Brat Camp 3 (UK). Her name is Geogie.

It was shot at Aspen Achievement Academy.

After the show she could not adjust to the real world, so she begged her mother to lock her up. Her mother took a loan in her house so she could be locked up at Excel academy. She will properly be released sometime late in 2007. Her major problem is that she liked girls instead of boys, which is quite shameful in some circles in England. So the shame of being "wrong" caused her to act out.

See:

The person with damage to her wrist is Lucy.

She got transferred to Turn-about Ranch and went back as a shadow of herself after only 4 weeks on the ranch. I dont know what Wayne did to her, but It could not have been nice.

Err - does anyone else notice that at the start of the video everyone is perfectly posed with no movement, and suddenly there's a "takedown" - but with no change in balance or significant weight shift?  The "victim" simply falls forward?

In a takedown someone of that size who's showing resistance, there would be a LOT of weight shift on the part of the staff members, and some kind of twisting movement of the supposed victim.   But in this, all the movement is forward, and with no effort.

Sorry, but that one looks completely staged.
