Milk can scare away the parents and you can scare away the students.

I can appreciate your sentiment Max. But, there is another issue, one that's being addressed on a larger scale. One of informed consent.
Parents are not aware of what they are actually purchasing when they place their child in a TBS. As accurate information makes it's way into the public, the industry will be forced to change or die a natural death. Those of us who have been involved with advocacy for years are witnessing this effect. The industry is in defense mode. They are scrambling to preserve their reputation.

There's only one reason this is ocurring. People telling their stories and exposing what actually is happening behind closed doors. That is why we bother.

Because I 'bothered' to report HLA/RC to the Office of Regulatory Services, RC was forced to licensure and be monitored by the state. Consequently, around that same time HLA changed their restriction diet and a few other things that I'm not recalling at the moment.

That is why "we live in the past", as you choose to put it. You certainly are not obligated to join that effort, but you also have no justification for judging those who work for change, which includes sharing experiences 'inside' the facility. The wheels can not even begin to move in the direction of change until the reality of what's actually happening is exposed. Without those stories, only the kids and staff will know. Doubtful that kids will even tell their parents, due to program conditioning.

Hidden Lake Academy, after operating 12 years unlicensed will now be monitored by the state. Access information on the Federal Class Action lawsuit against HLA here: http://www.fornits.com/wwf/viewtopic.php?t=17700

Interesting...do you consider say...the justice system or even say being a marine(or whatever you are) living in the past?

Becasue essentially the only thing the justice system does or marines do is right wrongs that OCCURED IN THE PAST.

Right? Are you in Iraq not because of what Saddam Hussein is doing now?
Following me?
You are there because of what he did IN THE PAST.(according to propoganda) You are using what he did in the past to prosecute him in the present. We are doing the same thing

If you are happy with allowing the people who torture children to death to get away with it than by all means keep up the silence!
Id think a marine would be less of a selfish coward.
